All, I hope this Blogger/personal area is the appropriate place to ask this question. I have a t-shirt/bumper sticker/coffee cup site where I want to gather our ideas and sell them for what they cost me, without profit, for the cause of saving our constitution and staving back socialism. Would it be appropriate to post the link now and then? I don't really know the rules. I just want to do something for the cause (without self interest.)

You say want to stave off socialism then announce your plan of self-sacrifice?
Why would anyone here care if you want to sell t-shirts for a profit?
I think there are rules at FR against ads to prevent spam overload but SELL ALL YOU WANT, brother.
We have enough sacrificing going on as it is.
If the shirt is good, heck, I’ll buy one.
You should make a profit off it.
Thumb your nose at King Obama the Worst.
Feel free to charge confiscatory rates. Let the market determine what those rates should be.
If you can get $50 for a $5 shirt, go for it.
If the market is there, people will buy....

Don't take this the wrong way, but wouldn't making a small profit (and maybe even donating it to a conservative cause like FreeRepublic) be the best way to fight socialism and promote both capitalism and conservatism?
I'm just sayin'....

In terms of FR, it’s normally wise to check with JimRob about such things.
He tends to be generous about Conservative FREEPERS who are getting the word out.
You might FREEPMAIL or even email him—see FR’s home page
with some of your designs to give him an idea of what you’re up to and ask him if you can link to your site.
As a side note, would advise you to work in a small profit from the git go.
Your time is worth something. And if the business takes off you might need to hire someone to help out. You will need to pay them. If it makes you feel better you can put the profit aside for future expansion of the business.
And do invest in a good accounting software and learn how to use it.

WOW! Thanks for your input everyone. We must reverse the flood of liberal propaganda, and what better way to speak out than to wear what you mean and mean what you wear. All ideas welcome, and we can hash out proper capatialist compensation for ideas as we go! (see my tagline, some shirts are scarier than others, comments welcome!)
