$10 would clear this all up, wouldn't it?

Can you imagine the outcry that would have happened so long ago had this been a Republican? The person never would have made it past the primary.

He has shown, however, that he is morally and intellectually unqualified.

Yep. I was a skeptic early on because there was no way the democrats could be so stupid and nominate someone who couldn’t serve. I assumed it would all be cleared up before the election and Zero would be proven eligible.

That obviously hasn’t happened and the democrats show an ever more blatent disdain for the constitution and the people it represents.

One day soon, someone who can do something about this, such as leaking information on some record somewhere, will become angry enough about the destruction of our country and economy that he will act.

The strange thing is, how is it normally done? How does one go about proving eligibility to be elected to any federal office? There must be some standardized procedure, just to verify everything's in order . . . ., you know, crossing your "t"s and dotting your "i"s, stuff.

What is it? Does anyone know?

The fact he has spent close to a million dollars (or so I’ve heard) in fighting the release of ANY of his records (birth, scholastic, passport, et al) suggests to me he definitely has something to hide.

Thus far, his desire to keep his BC (if one truly exists in Hi) secret has more weight than the Constitution of the Unite States.

Whether he is a natural born citizen or not, that scenario in itself is an outrage.

What do you conclude from this?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I conclude that we must pressure our states to pass laws requiring hard proof that a candidate is constitutionally eligible.

If states do this, Obama will develop an odd illness, need more time with his, family and not run for a second term.

I noticed that on older U.S. Census forms (this one from 1870) that the "constitutional relations" was considered important enough to record.

Column 18 could apply nowadays as well...

Obama’s top terrorism and intelligence adviser, John O. Brennan, heads a firm that was cited in March for breaching sensitive files in the State Department’s passport office, according to a State Department Inspector General’s report released July, ‘08.

The security breach involved a contract employee of Brennan’s firm, The Analysis Corp., which has
earned millions of dollars providing intelligence-related consulting services to federal agencies and private companies.

At the time of the breach, Brennan was working as an unpaid
adviser to the Obama campaign.

The files may contain additional information including “original copies of the associated documents,” the report added. Such documents include birth certificates, naturalization certificates, or oaths of allegiance for U.S.-born persons who adopted the citizenship of a foreign country as minors.

Following the breach, State Department managers met with Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Joseph Biden, whose committee has oversight over the Foreign Service and the passport office. Biden was sworn in as Obama’s vice president on Jan. 20, ‘09.

Obama supporters have all along stated that his birth certificate was posted on the internet web site. However the "Certification of Live Birth" which was actually posted doesn’t confirm a birth location. "[Hawaii] statute 138 allows foreign born children of HI residents to get HI [Certificates of Live Birth] and get them based on a statement of one relative only.

I think that the standard Obamite response to the "Statute 138" argument is that it was not in effect when Obama was born. Even if that is correct, there was probably a similar statute in effect. All states have to deal with resident mothers who give birth abroad, who want for their kids to have clear documentation of American citizenship. Did Obama's mother use Hawaii's 1961 solution to that problem?

Obama has still not produced a birth certificate that names the hospital where he was born, or that shows the printed name and the signature of the doctor or midwife who delivered him. If he was not born in Hawaii, that documentation will never be available. If he was born in Hawaii, that documentation should be immediately available, and it should long ago have been released to the public.

It is just astonishing that this controversy is still unresolved, and that so few people are trying to resolve it. This seems like a variation on the Emperor's New Clothes fable, that is missing the little boy. In this version, everyone agrees that the Emperor's clothes look fabulous, and the story ends.

Yes it does. Either this woman is illiterate, or she hasn't even looked at the COLB. It very clearly indicates Honolulu as the location of birth.

If Obama has been lying about the place of his birth, the day that something credible gets leaked, or the truth is known outright, the markets will actually rally big time, Constitutional crisis or not. Even if he’s not driven out of office, he will be the lamest duck ever to stumble on two webs.

Obama’s actions reflect those of someone who cares less about this country - a clear indicator of a less-than-patriotic person. this is what the founding fathers knew they had to prevent.

Recall his refusal to weat flags, his present destruction of the US economy, his new agreements with Russia to dismantle our missle shield, the same shield which Reagan successfully used to win the Cold War.
