When this question was first raised, I dismissed it as silly paranoia.
After Obama has refused to produce an original birth certificate, and had various records sealed, I have begun to think there may well be some truth to this theory.
Like, you said...for $10 he can make it all go away. So, why doesn’t he?
Why, that is odd. Two months ago it was claimed as a fact that Obama had spend over $1,000,000 on legal fees deny access to his birth certificate.
He better re-write the beginning so it begins with “Once upon a time...” then!
I was born in Washington DC, in a hospital that doesn't even exist anymore, but when I applied for a concealed carry permit and sent for a copy of my original birth certificate with Dr. Notes' signature on it (from summer of 1945), I was able to get one, albeit a convoluted process. The copy had a raised seal stamped in the picture copy.

Not true. Every state in the Union keeps the original in their vault. Like every state, Hawaii issues certified copies of relevant information that is on the original. They never give you the original.
