Team Obama just cant seem to set its starting line-up. Nominees, potential nominees, and rumored nominees continue to drop like flies.
Annette Nazareth, a former commissioner with the SEC, made a personal decision and pulled her name from consideration to be Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithners top aide.
Then, in a huge blow to TV viewers around the world, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNNs chief medical correspondent, said he no longer wanted to be considered for the Surgeon General job because of personal reasons.
Seems to us that personal reasons has now become Liberalese for I havent paid my taxes for the last seven years?

They may or may not have paid their taxes. Frankly, even if I was up to date on my taxes and then some ... I still wouldn’t climb aboard a sinking ship and be blamed for it.
"Personal reasons" can also mean "I want nothing to do with this loser, or I too will become a despised laughingstock and my career will be wrecked forever"
In at least Gupta’s case - the pay cut was huge - that is a real consideration - and a fair one.
