Whenever my company found out about the annual union drive conducted by both the Teamsters or the the Food Worker’s union, they’d do what any smart company would do:
They’d hold PAID employee “training” meetings on the current state of wages and benefits, then they’d explain what would happen if the company went union.
Worked great.
Never passed the card-check stage.
Such practices would be eliminated if this new law were passed.
BTW, I spent the last ten years helping shutter UAW plants.
I work largely in Mexico and Korea for manufacturing operations, now.
Good job, UAW !!!
I worked for a company that would fire you even if you joked about unionizing.
