Good to see her continuing being active for the GOP. Some of the alleged conservative talking heads may not like her, but I think the proof will be in the pudding when she’s invited to campaign with Congressional candidates in 2010.

Seen spewing from the lips from the camps of Romney, Huckabee, Jindal, Crist and Pawlenty as well as from Obama’s team:

“Damn you maverick!”

Governor Palin has quickly emerged as one of the most popular and recognizable faces in the Republican Party, and we are honored to have her deliver the keynote address at the Senate-House dinner.

Well, heck, if you listen to some folks on this board, Governor Palin is "damaged goods" and has "peaked."

Gee, they must be wrong...

;)

How do know when you meet a Palin-hating troll online:

He/she says Sarah is ‘damaged goods’ or an ‘illiterate moron’.

Palin rocks. Honestly, she’s still kicking butt and taking names in Alaska in spite of most of the worthless Republican “leadership.”

One more reason to take a look at Alaska as a model.

Uh oh, Palin's spokesman is now saying that the NRSC has jumped the gun on this and Palin hasn't accepted yet. Stay tuned.

Update: Palin has been invited, but not decided yet whether to keynote the fundraiser. Let’s hope she does. :o)

.........................
The ADN reports:

Update from Sean Cockerham in Juneau —

I just got a call from Gov. Sarah Palin’s spokesman, Bill McAllister, who said these national Republican groups jumped the gun in announcing Palin would be there.

“The governor has not confirmed,” McAllister said.

McAllister said he has no idea why the National Republican Senatorial Committee and National Republican Congressional Committee announced Palin as the keynote speaker. “I don’t know, I’m kind of stunned...She’s been invited but that’s as far as it’s gone from our end, is my understanding,” McAllister said.

Indication that it’s CONFIRMED!

http://www.adn.com/palin/story/725536.html

“NRSC spokesman Brian Walsh said Monday night that the staff of the governor’s national political action committee, SarahPAC, had confirmed Palin would indeed speak at the Senate-House dinner.

“The committees have confirmed this with the governor’s political staff at SarahPAC, not her official staff in Juneau, so it’s understandable why there may be a miscommunication here,” Walsh said.

SarahPAC spokeswoman Meg Stapleton could not be reached for comment Monday night.”

Palin is looking better by the day. It could be that all of the media trashing will get old and folks will start to actually listen to her.

Absolutely she is. As each day passes the momentum builds for her. She and her staff have been very keen and adept in parrying the attacks on herself and her family. There is an accurate analogy to be made with Reagan here. RR was described as having a 'teflon' skin, though very few so-called pundits understood that the negative invective never clung to RR because it just wasn't true; he actually was a truly good and decent person - and the current governor of Alaska shares the this exact trait with her (self-described) 'hero'.

If America can elect a clueless communist, can't the American idiocracy be fooled into voting for Palin, a real leader? RNC???? Hello????

Good pt, but they won't be fooled, they will go to the polls in droves knowing that they'll cast a vote for a bona fide conservative who governs intelligently and ethically. Sarah Palin doesn't merely hide behind our flag (meaning: all that it represents), she cloaks herself in it.
