Hamas's Free Lunch

Caroline Glick, a contributing writer at the Center For Security Policy, has written an important article that spotlights how attempts are being made by diplomats close to Obama, to push for legitimization of the Hamas Islamic terror organization. In the same irresponsible manner that the PLO Fatah was wrongly legitimized. Even though Fatah continues it's own non-recognition of Israel.

Just a few days ago, Mohammad Dahlan of the Palestinian Authority Fatah, acknowledged that the PLO Fatah's "recognition" of Israel is only to obtain financial aid. But as Glick points out, the MSM has totally ignored this:

"Not surprisingly, Dahlan's statement went almost completely unnoted. Only The Jerusalem Post and one or two other Jewish publications and a few anti-jihadist blogs made note of it. The US, European and pro-peace process Hebrew media all ignored it. No government spokesman anywhere in the world commented on it. "

Amerisrael was one of those "anti-jihadists" who did take note and feverishly sought to draw attention to that report "Western Funders Misled: Fatah's "recognition" of Israel only for International Aid", the report by Itamar Marcus that should have been front and center on every major news site, and talked about by your favorite conservative talk show hosts. Like Rush and Hannity. But their "not" talking about it.

That’s like asking us to legitimize Al-Qaeda. Oh wait, that wouldn’t be that surprising....scary.
