Sean Penn, and Jim Carry as Larry and Curly? Say it isnt so. I might be able to take Benicio Del Toro as Moe, but the Farrelly Bros. are sticking it to Three Stooges fans. Here is some advise Farrellys
stick to toilet humor and leave comic icons and Americana alone.

Washington’s Three Stooges:
Mo: Barack Hussein Obama
Curly: Barny Frank
Larry: Chris Dodd
By putting Sean Penn in the movie they have assured that I will never see it.
This will last thirty seconds in theaters, and then nobody will ever hear of it again. Watch and see.
Sacrilege!!!!!!!
TSR Three Stooges Redux.
They’ll make this stinker, then ask barak for a bail out.
Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk!
“By putting Sean Penn in the movie they have assured that I will never see it”
Me too. The box office for Milk was tiny. Penn is the kiss of death for a movie.
They won’t know how to pull off the slapstick stuff and hopefully will end up putting each others eyes out after slapping themselves silly. That might make it worth seeing.
Direct to DVD.
Sacrilege!!!!!!!
Absolutely nothing is sacred any more!!!
Nah, they’ll do one slapstick skit and spend the rest of the movie in group therapy sessions.
Then directly to the $5 bin at Walmart.
Penn would be better as Joe Besser whose, “whining sissy character flew into tantrums with little provocation”.

"Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk!!!"
Then direct to 24-7 broadcast on some studio’s pay cable channel.

Making this a succesfuly movie will be a tough nyuk to crack.
There was a made for TV movie about the stooges a few years back. I was exited about the show, and set the DVR to record it to DVD. That DVD became a coffee coaster, because the show was a hot stinking, steaming pile of cow-pie. The acting was terrible and it was impossible to believe it was the 1930s 40s and 50s.
Granted, passing yourself off as a celebrity we all grew up with in a movie is one of the most challenging bits of acting you can do, but it has been done. The Buddy Holly Story, la Bamba, Walk the Line, and even Kurt Russel as Elvis. But somehow doing a successful imitation of the stooges on film, even for Sean Penn is going to be a tough nyuk to crack, and I do mean nyuk.
The best Stooges were from the thirties. Curly had a stroke in the early forties (?) and the shorts were never the same. Also, the Stooges were very patriotic and several of the shorts took on Hitler directly.
Sean Penn as Larry? What a joke. The Stooges didn’t hate their country.
This is all so embarrassing. I guess it’s time to change screen names.
Today’s Hollywood types haven’t shown they even come close to having the talent of those back in the Stooges’ heyday.
Sean Penn?
Say it ain’t so, homo!
Direct to video. Stink bomb.
