Here is a report on photos taken in the immediate aftermath of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., that are just now being published. A Life Magazine photographer rushed to the scene on April 4, 1968 after King was shot and killed at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee.
