Of (Obama's) Arrogance and Global Regime

Obama is arrogant.

There is no way around it. There is no doubt in my opinion that he is too unapologetically, too unforgivably arrogant to effectively lead America. That is not to say he will not express regret. He does it all the time. Whether he is apologizing to those involved in Special Olympics for his unintelligent gaffe where he said of his bowling, "I bowled a 129. It's like - it was like Special Olympics, or something." Or when he apologized to Nancy Reagan for commenting that he "didn't want to get into a Nancy Reagan thing about doing any séances." By the way Barack, I do believe it was your Secretary of State, Mrs. Clinton who admitted communicating with the dead, not Mrs. Reagan.

But other than the occasional apology for some ignorant statement he's made off-teleprompter, so to speak, he also apologizes for… well, for America. I suppose we have not had enough apologies made on our behalf over the years, so in steps Barack Hussein Obama. There's a new Sheriff in town, y'all. He's come to clean up the mess those old white-guys made when they started this country. And apparently for the mess we have all contributed to over the past 200 years or so. "An' he's gonna make fer positive we all pay for the sins of our forefathers (and five mothers).

Let's explore this subject further by examining some of his public statements (if you are not conservative, these might not seem very "public" to you seeing as media outlets tend to overlook anything that might cast Obama in a bad light). Most of these statements are not specifically apologies but in some instances he has been forced to publicly apologize for them. Personally expressing his feelings does not always jive with his current political motivations. That is to say he has said more than he meant to sooner than was politically expedient.

For America's Nuclear Past:

On the matter of North Korea launching a long-range missile President Barack Obama called for "a world without nuclear weapons". He went on to say that, "As a nuclear power - as the only nuclear power to have used a nuclear weapon - the United States has a moral responsibility to act," The implication here being we were acting unjustly when we responded to Japan's aggression on the United States and the world. You know, when we dropped the bomb that ended World War II?

For the Troops and the War in Iraq:

"We ended up launching a war that should have never been authorized, and should never been waged, and on which we have now spent $400 billion, and have seen over 3,000 lives of the bravest young Americans wasted." He later apologized for this one. Tut, tut, King Obama. Those Freudian slips will get you every time, mate!

For America's attitudes concerning blacks:

"I think if you look African-American in this society, you're treated as an African-American," I'm bald. I can never be a news anchor in America. Fact is people are treated differently because of all kinds of different things. The heart of American's have been so radically turned since the days of slavery and the days of the Civil Rights movement that there are few obstacles standing in anyone's way. If you have the desire and the drive and you want to succeed you have the opportunity to do so. There are way too many examples for it to be a matter of dispute. That is until you make too much money in Obama's America then all bets are off.

For his Grandmother's attitudes concerning blacks:

"But she is a typical white person who, you know, if she sees somebody on the street that she doesn't know, you know, there's a reaction that's been bred into our experiences that don't go away and that sometimes come out in the wrong way." How's the view from the bottom of the bus, Granny?

For America's arrogance concerning Europe:

"In recent years we've allowed our Alliance to drift. I know that there have been honest disagreements over policy, but we also know that there's something more that has crept into our relationship. In America, there's a failure to appreciate Europe's leading role in the world. Instead of celebrating your dynamic union and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive."

He went on to say, "But in Europe, there is an anti-Americanism that is at once casual but can also be insidious. Instead of recognizing the good that America so often does in the world, there have been times where Europeans choose to blame America for much of what's bad."

Good, good. So we're not all that bad. The problem is that by the time this statement was made the attitude Obama has about America and its people was already too well known (if you've been listening).

There is only so far he can go in the bashing of America before the American people start to balk. He is the master of pushing us to the absolute edge then backing off and appearing to be moderate for a short time. But you have to look at the bulk of his public statements to really gauge what Obama's true intentions for our country are.

For America's responsibility concerning the attitudes of the Arab world:

Obama chose Arab television's Al Arabiya for his first sit-down interview as President of the United States. In that interview he confirmed the Arab view the real problem is America, and then proceeded to apologize on our behalf. "… America was not born as a colonial power," he told the Arab viewing audience - the implication being that we have become that. And after that admission he apologetically confessed, "We sometimes make mistakes. We are not perfect." Thank you, Mr. Hussein for telling the terrorists that we are to blame for their aggression.

For the "negative liberties" outlined in the Constitution:

"…as radical as I think people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn't that radical. It didn't break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution, at least as it's been interpreted, and the Warren Court interpreted in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. Says what the states can't do to you. Says what the federal government can't do to you, but doesn't say what the federal government or state government must do on your behalf."

Yes, Obama… you would have been better than America's Founding Fathers at writing the Constitution. Barack Hussein Obama will be, in all likelihood choosing a Supreme Court justice or two during his Administration. I believe it is important then to look at his criterion for choosing them.

"We need somebody who's got the heart, the empathy, to recognize what it's like to be a young teenage mom, the empathy to understand what it's like to be poor or African-American or gay or disabled or old--and that's the criterion by which I'll be selecting my judges."

The Supreme Court Justices are tasked with enforcing the law with a strict interpretation of the Constitution, yet this fellow walks onto the scene and pronounces that their goal is to be like Judge Judy times nine - no offense to Judge Judy. She is much stricter than some of our liberal-leaning friends on the nation's highest court.

"What we have here is… failure to communicate." Somehow along the way, our educational system neglected to train our then future President what it is the President actually does. He, himself is charged with upholding the Constitution of the United States and swears an oath that is exactly what he will do.

But Barack Hussein Obama seems to take every opportunity to do just the opposite. One other, other teensy, weensy problem that we have right now is that America's sovereignty is being threatened. Obama, again taking a cue from our buddy Rahm Emanuel is not letting a good crisis go to waste. Speaking again on the subject of Korea's launching of a long range missile he said, "All nations must come together to build a stronger, global regime." A global regime? After Tony Brown's talk of "the effort to build a stronger and more just international order," and Russia and China's talk of an international currency you'd think he would at least try to separate from that subject for a modicum of time. But, honestly I'd be surprised if the importance of that one statement hits the mainstream media's radar. So the chance of it showing up in the public consciousness is slim to none.

In the short term, I'm not exactly sure what the answer is to our little problem. We can whine and complain that we have a President who daily smacks the face of Lady Liberty or that a United States President doesn't seem to be able to get his hands on a verifiable copy of his own birth certificate, but other than that the only thing we can do to make a difference is to get off our collective butts and vote. Maybe a good protest will get Washington's attention. Problem is seems the only people in our little country that are capable of putting on a good protest are female, gay or some other minority. I beg of you… if there are any of you that fit into this category and you are not happy with the liberal's obvious bent to destroy America, please, please set up seminars to train the rest of us how to protest.

Hello? Anybody???

Narcissistic DSM IV Criteria

A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:

(2) is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love

(3) believes that he or she is “special” and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)

(4) requires excessive admiration

(5) has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations

(6) is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends

(7) lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others

I’ll take C-diff for $300 Alex. Uh, what is Clostridium difficile.

Actually, if 0’s inauguration gets replayed, check out his reaction when Rick Warren is praying that God give him the humility to lead. Boy, that was telling!
