In his first interview since Inauguration Day, Saddleback Church Pastor Rick Warren tells Larry King that is a misconception that he is an "Anti-Gay Marriage Activist". He adds that he never took a stance on California's Prop 8 Same-Sex Marriage debate and he doesn't concern himself with things like Iowa's recent Supreme Court ruling legalizing gay marriage.

Ironic that the man who made millions off a book called “The Purpose Driven Life” serves no useful purpose in real life.

He is a con man and huckster who ripped off Christians. Phony ba*tard.

This fraud should go back to his Brokeback Church.

Of course he’s not an anti-gay person but as far as the gay mafia in concerned anyone who does not support their causes is to be targeted for destruction. One can read all about these people in the 2nd half of Romans 1.

Just watched it. RW said, “I wrote to all my gay friends...and apologized to them...” What did he apologize for? That he told his congregation that he thinks marriage should be defined as being between a man and a woman. Then he starts blathering on about Rwanda.

Wow. What a total sell-out. I predict RW just slit the throat of the Saddleback Church.

"Warren said he voted for John McVain.

I've also heard Warren say that marriage was between one man and one woman. Apparently, Rick bends whichever way the wind blows. IMHO.

Very true. This guy is a media hound and doesn’t deserve a moment of serious attention. I’d rather hear what Paris Hilton has to say.

Considering homosexuals don’t inherit the kingdom of God, I love my fellow man enough, including homosexuals, to tell them up front, that their gay lifestyle is completely antichristian and unless they have faith alone in Christ alone, will find themselves standing before a Great White Throne Judgment prior to a second death, being cast in the lake of Fire for all eternity future.

The issue has nothing to do with morality, because all sin has already been paid for on the Cross. Rather, it has everything to do with how God has created man in His image and if we seek to live as by what God has provided, homosexuality simply interferes, distracts, and interrupts the walk with God available to all men through faith in Christ.

It doesn’t serve me for any homosexual to be converted by anything I say, rather the issue is for any man, no matter what their sin, to be converted by God the Holy Spirit by what He has provided.

God Bless and Thank You Lord!

Rick Warren is a Pastor, not an Anti-Gay Marriage Activist.

I take it some here want the guy who shepherds their family to be a political Anti-Gay Marriage Activist and not a Pastor. Very strange.

I am not an Anti-Gay Marriage Activist either, and understand that all sin is sin. The worst sin is my sin but thankfully God has dealt with sin and was and still is fully satisfied with His Son’s sacrifice on the cross for all sin.

Some Christians and a few denominations are focused on what they are against instead of Who they are for. I will stick with the latter.

As for homosexuality and gay marriage, your sin does not impress God either!

Note: Rick Warren has already said he is against gay marriage but has more important things as a Pastor to concentrate on. Good for him!

Now for all those that think Pastors and every heterosexual should be an Anti-Gay Marriage Activist. Tell us your history of anti-gay marriage activism.

that is the problem with the ‘gay movement’, it is all about money and lobbying with them. In reality, if they didn’t go out of their way to throw their lifestyles in everyone’s face, nobody would care and the only way they can make millions to support their rights is to make themselves look oppressed and victimized by making themselves look like fools. The lobbyists and ‘role models’ for that movement are millionaires and push their agenda to elicit guilt from people and make money for a cause that is created by pushing their lifestyle on the public because they know people disagree with it. It is pathetic but in my opinion it is about money not about equal rights. I am not religious or necessarily anti gay but if people are going to provoke others by behaving a certain way because of their insecurity and claim to be proud of themselves, then they deserve to get knocked down to size, in my opinion.

I think it's time to update my Rick Warren political primer.

He’s not a warrior for Christ if he has better things to do than fight sin when he sees it.

Hate the sin love the sinner.... stand your ground... be consistent in your message.
