Now, does this sound like a free government for a free, self governing people? How can money be taken from every American's paycheck, and American soldiers die, who pledged to defend freedom, for this international monstrosity of a 'government'? I really do want to know the answer to this.

What is the International Compact with Iraq?

The International Compact with Iraq is an initiative of the Government of Iraq for a new partnership with the international community. The Compact is a five-year national plan that includes benchmarks and mutual commitments from both Iraq and the international community, all with the aim of helping Iraq on the path towards peace, sound governance and economic reconstruction.

The United Nations -- through the Secretary-General’s Special Adviser on the International Compact with Iraq and Other Political Issues, Ibrahim Gambari -- and Iraq have been co-chairs of the preparatory process, which has also had the support of the World Bank.

Role of United Nations

-- The Compact initiative is co-chaired by the Government of Iraq and the United Nations. Other partners include the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and other regional financial institutions.

-- Over the Compact’s lifespan, the United Nations Secretariat, its agencies, funds and programs will continue to support the implementation of the Compact. They will do so through the International Reconstructions Fund Facility for Iraq and the United Nations Country Team Joint Priority Action Plan, designed to deliver direct assistance to basic services that are of vital humanitarian importance to the people of Iraq.

-- The United Nations will support establishing a formal Secretariat for the Compact, working closely with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, as the focal point of the Government.

“Which ‘anti-socialist’ government are you talking about?”

Bush/Cheney.

I think the term “fascism” is bandied about a little too freely. BHO is certainly no fascist. He is a Socialist as are most people in his party.

Nationalist Socialists are Nazis.
Internationalist Socialists are Communists.
American Socialists are Democrats.

Fascism is basically a European phenomenon although a number of years ago there were are large number of Latin American dictators such as Pinochet and Stroessner who could be described as Fascist. Fascism is certainly a cousin of socialism in that is does advocate a strong powerful central government that controls everything. However, fascism does permit large corporations to exist as long as they do what they are told. It does permit the Church to operate without interference. There is usually a strong emphasis on nationalism and the military. So those are the basic differences between fascism and socialism.

Bush/Cheney

You're completely wrong.

Bush even has attempted to rename 9/11 as 'patriot's day'.

President Bush has proclaimed that Sept. 11, 2002 be observed as "Patriot Day."

That move is one of many that occurred during his time in office that undermine the Founders and their sacrifices for a culture of freedom.

Great excert. Perhaps a serial thread series and an in-depth discussion of this writer is in order.

He is definitely wrong on Iraq. I spent 3 days on a consulting venture with the man that was 2nd in command of the UN WMD team. This guy has been to Iraq on 40 inspection visits. He confirmed that Iraq had bioweapons labs scattered all over the country and most had large parts of the labs and equipment set up on skids. To facilitate the movement and concealment, Iraq had at least 3 spies embedded with the inspection committee that were able to warn the lab operators when their lab and area was on the inspection schedule. They simply moved the labs ahead of time and not long before the war, all were moved to Syria. Furthermore, there were indeed numerous terrorist training camps in Iraq. These are the facts from the guy who was on the scene as an expert, not some news-reporter with an agenda and zero expertise to sway public opinion.

BTTT.

All true.. I remember hearing/reading about that shortly after the war in Iraq started. Even the UN’s David Kaye said “Saddam was more dangerous than we even knew." Congress voted on going to war with Saddam even though the intelligence they received was no where near as dire as that which President Bush received. We had satellite photos of huge caravans leaving IAEA “sealed” building just weeks before the war started. We found stockpiles of weapons Saddam wasn't supposed to have , but they weren't in as large enough quantities, so they were dismissed. As you know, the list goes on and on..

Saddam had no weapons of mass destruction” I will scream.

We didn't find the documented WMD's in the amounts we thought we would because Saddam had time to move, bury or destroy them. And we knew for a fact he intended on obtaining more WMD's in the future! Even Clinton said it!

His ‘weapon of mass destruction’ was the creation of a middle eastern ‘free trade’ area, not run by the international cabal.

That was his sin. They didn’t care when he killed his own people, he got on their radar when he started organizing a ‘free trade’ area with Syria, Egypt, et. al.
