I was stationed in Amberg i.d. Oberpfalz for 7 years (3/2 ACR). I actually liked Graf.

Thanks everyone for the input. We’ve decided against Ft. Bragg base on your posts. As a nurse, the Army allows us to choose 3 bases... er.. posts and the Army then “tries” to pick among your choices.

We’re going to choose: Ft. Campbell, Knox, and Belvoir.

I’ll get the Army lingo in no time.

Yep! It’s still there too. I went back to visit on my 40th birthday (my dad’s time was over less than a year after I was born and we moved back to California) since I was only there as a baby.

I went to the hospital and they actually showed me the room I was born in. Now that’s Army beauracracy! lol
