Unhappy truth that it is, the self-anointed intellectual giants called liberals never quit adding chapters to the book of their arrogant hypocrisy. Here are the latest additions.

As you most likely know, Miss USA Pageant judge Perez Hilton was so offended by the crude, stupid quality of Carrie Prejean’s answer to his question about same sex marriage that next morning he couldn’t resist the compulsion to inform the world about its intellectual deficiencies in the manner by which liberals give these kinds of lectures:

So it was that he called Miss California a “dumb bitch” — later making it known he was thinking something uglier.

Proverbs 31.30:

30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

Miss CA is, for all intents, a professional model. That isn’t evil, but it isn’t exactly the most admirable of roles for a woman.

You must have missed the verse that says, “Let your beauty be outwardly, that men might adore you.”

I’m not sure where it is found...

“Huge difference.”

Sure, sometimes, but not here, and not the distinction I was make.

To make it more direct, not all committed Christians share your (apparent) belief that being in a pageant is contrary to being a committed Christian.

Indeed, I would suspect you’d be in the distinct minority.

Sure, she’s not curing cancer, but maybe she’s not gifted in that way.

Her gift (or one of her gifts) is beauty.

She may have just learned one of the reasons why she shouldn't be.

in my opinion, her experience shows just exactly why she should be there... not just her, but other committed Christians... we've given away too much: television and other media, education, medicine, science... even Hollywood...

In her defense, I’ll say that she seems to be making good use of where she is at - so maybe God did indeed put her there. I would not, however, hold it up as a desirable route for most pretty girls to follow.

how would that represent people who DO NOT want gay marriage? (Like hilLIARy clinton and barack ‘barry’ hussein soerto obama)

Poor choice of words, since everyone knows the two you mentioned were lying when they said that.

However, large majorities in every state HAVE voted against state recognition of pretend marriages, so Ms. Prejean was not only not wrong to express herself, she also expressed the position of the majority, demonstrated over and over again, even in California.

The media is making it seem like she blurted out a view only held by a tiny and despised minority. Elections tell a different story - as they say, when the flag drops, the BS stops.

Hey.... who am I to say where she should be?... I just made the observation that maybe her eyes were opened just a little bit to the discrimination that does exist. It was not my intent to suggest that christians shouldn't be part of contests of this sort. There's arguments on both sides. To me, it is quite trivial either way. I'm just glad she stood up for her faith. THATS what is important.
