Yesterday, Jordan's King Abdullah the Diminutive was interviewed on Meet the Press. Along with his usual discourse of "the Israel/Palestinian issue is the cause of all problems of the world" the King also had some choice words about the "enhanced interrogation techniques that the US practiced the Islamist terrorist. Kind of strange though, since the Hypocritical King is a big proponent of torture in his own country Jordan (the original Palestinian State).... ..King Abdullah, the Hypocritical said definitively that his country does not torture. Since Mr. Gregory would never challenge the King when he is bashing the US, I guess I have to.
The evidence does not support the claim that Jordan does not Torture. The Human Rights Watch (HRW) study Gregory discussed was from April 2008, in October 2008 HRW issued a 95 page report that makes Jordanian prisons sound like torture chambers:

The king responded to virtually every question concerning the Middle East by pointing to Jerusalem. In Arab and Muslim minds, the most emotional aspect is the Palestinian cause and that of Jerusalem. And from there leads all the other problems, he argued.....
He followed the same track concerning Iran and any crisis you want to talk about . All roads lead back to Jerusalem. ...
The Jordanian monarch held out the chance for Israel to make peace with 57 countries that do not recognize Israel today. Look, Israel, if you solve the Palestinian problem, if you allow us to solve the problems of Jerusalem, we all want to have peace with you.

In relation to the end times, the prophet Zechariah wrote, as seen in Zechariah 12:2-3:
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah [and] against Jerusalem.
And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
I thought Jordan was one of the places we send people when we need extra-specially-enhanced-interrogation.
I thought David Gregory coaxed the comments from the king—he was doing his best to get the king to criticize the US.
Am I the only ne that saw the tape of the Saudi prince torturing...really...not caterpillars or water...the grain merchant that ripped him off? M-4 fire, threats of raping his wife, forcing sand down his throat, and then running him over multiple times with his SUV. ABC aired it Friday in the early AM, and I expected it to be everywhere, but not a peep. Did Obama have it spiked?
