What if that is not the intent?

Suppose the intent is to use this bug to create a public sense of panic? In panic mode, western governments get a good bit more leeway to do whatever they want. I can see considerable benefit to the administration in adding another notch on the panic meter already impacting the US tax sheep.

These people (europeans too) want to literally remake the world economic system, after all.

If the intent is to induce a panic; they have to do more than a couple dozen deaths. SARS failed to induce a panic, and I am not worried about this flu (at this point).

When we start seeing thousands or millions of deaths - then we’ll see something. Personally, I find it amazing that the Democrats feel that this does not justify closing the border, or building the fence. I hope this backfires on them; their oath of office states, quite clearly, that they are to defend the Constitution and the people of the USA. They have raped the Constitution, and are leaving the border wide open to allow any disease in Mexico to travel unimpeded to the US.
