Omg GAWD! I will compose my comedic enchanting Hoovers review tomorrow. I have to be at work at 4am. One observation, her calves and ankles are identical to our outdoor meat smoker stove pipe. Only worse! What a clueless, class less skank that appears to be attracted to ghetto ware. The ghetto dwellers in DA HOOD will be bloated with pride. Thanks for the pinger. : )
Wow, I didn’t know you could use food stamps in a shoe store.
aside from her outfit being horribly tacky overall the danged shoes are ugly with a capital “U”
There is no longer any sanity in anyone associated with this administration.

Will do... Thanks again for the pings.
They might have looked cute with a pair of ankle pants, but those leggings just didn’t work.
Michelle has hideous taste in clothing, and the shoes are an example of that. Additionally, such blatant and wasteful spending is selfish and thoughtless in light of the example she should be setting.
She has lost touch with the common man (or woman as the case may be). She lost touch a very long time ago, and has truly forgotten that the average person can't identify with $500 shoes.
It is absolutely idiotic to spend that much on a pair of sneakers. She could have bought Barry some grillz for less!
Yeah, there is something wrong, only a damned fool wastes money this way.
I believe she is spending her wardrobe money poorly in terms of taste and looks. It would have been better if she’d bought a classier pants outfit and stuck with cheaper American sneaks. Save your designer money for real articles of clothing that would heighten your attractiveness.
It’s not the shoes that bother me — well the outrageous price DOES, but anyway...
The thing that REALLY bothers me is that she chose to wear these shoes to this event. It’s just wrong, IMHO.
Just like her husband’s decision to buzz NY for a photo-op, they have NO CONNECTION with the people, and NO RESPECT for the “common man”, and have no concept that they represent our nation, and like it or not EVERYTHING they do reflects on us.
You’d think after 8 years of their complaining how Bush was “out of touch” they would have SOME kind of understanding of this, but it’s clear they don’t.
As for her office saying “C’mon they’re JUST shoes”... Reminds me of how their campaign and the liberals attacked the amount of money Sarah spent on her clothes to maintain an image befitting one who wanted to represent our country as our VP. It’s SO hypocritical...
Someone should REALLY tell Michelle that labels and cost DON’T translate into style. Many people on these threads make jokes about Goodwill and Salvation Army and shopping at thrift stores... Well, perhaps I’m not the exact right person to do this, but what I’d LOVE for someone, somehow to do, is go into Goodwill with say $50 dollars in a large area (like the ARC stores in Denver), put together a few outfits, and compare them to these designer clothes that Michelle can’t put together properly. And, see who looks better...
Again - money spent, and “designer labels” doesn’t translate into STYLE, and “looking good”. Back when I was more active in politics (giving speeches and such) we didn’t have money to even shop in the malls (except clearance racks), but I would challenge ANYONE to say that back then you could TELL I was buying all my clothes at a thrift store. I could definitely pull off a look that appeared as if I spent hundreds, when in actuality the whole outfit (skirted suit, silk blouse for example) only cost me $15.00. (Granted several pairs of good heels in basic colors, and a pair of QUALITY cheap earring (like gold hoops) that I took good care of, and a simple gold necklace (again gold overlay) were combined with these “thrift store” clothes to complete my “look”. However even adding in the cost of these things would bring the total price to perhaps $50.00 (if I had to buy the shoes and other accessories every time I wore them...).
Goodwill, Salvation Army, (and especially the ARC thrift stores around Denver), are AWESOME if you’re a good shopper (recognizing quality clothes by design, stitching, lining, etc... and yes, labels of quality clothing designers helps as well).
I just want people to realize that because it’s been bugging me a bit as I take it rather personally because I can’t AFFORD to shop anywhere else - except again great sales, or clearance racks at good dept. stores. Shopping at thrift stores doesn’t mean you don’t have “style” or the ability to look like a “million bucks”, and shopping at the priciest boutiques, and buying $540 shoes (or even $100 shoes) for example, doesn’t mean you are going to look any better...
Sorry for the rant... It’s just been on my mind as I read some of the comments on these threads...
LOL...SO funny!
When growing up outside Chicago they were called “gym shoes”. :)
Total hypocrites... but then we already knew that didn’t we.
AND, I’ll bet those Italian Calfskin Shoes are going to last a HECK of a lot longer, and in better condition than Michelle’s $540 gym shoes!!! (They’re also probably better for the back - with proper arch support, etc... and stitching and not GLUE to hold them together!) Yeah, $520 is a TON of money to pay for shoes, but if I had the money and the option - I’d definitely buy a few pairs of well-made Italian leather shoes... (Of course, mine would be heels though).
I’d have to agree with you. Do you notice all the label name-dropping? No mention on the label of her capris, but she had a J. Crew Sweater, and Lanvin shoes. (And she STILL can’t manage a decent look). It’s as if they think label and cost are all that matter... JMHO.
Thanks so much for your clever threads.
They really give me a laugh.
Leave it up to the clever FReepers to come up with some hilarious comments!
By the way, that ugly argyle sweater and the high water britches are about 4 sizes too small.
Look how those pants are stretched across those tree trunk thighs! And is that ANOTHER camel toe??
GAWD! What an embarassment to have this skank in the White House.
let’s face it- it doesn’t matter what footwear she is sporting or what she puts on her back-(the woman is blind
sided to fashion in numerous accounts) the MSM adores her and she’s fulfilling her non-controversial role and space in the tabloids. Sometimes methinks she’s colorblind or intentionally fashion unconscious as if her outfit would stand out to all the example that SHE is qualified to lead this country, naaaahhhh, it’s just her hostility and anger
‘cause she’s walking the dog @5:15am while the hub is asleep.
It’s her own battle and can if she’s got a good stylist hanging around, hopefully the fashion moronics of Michelle
Obama will self-implode. Seriously, folks I don’t see hope
for this gal, and I’m not talking $600.00 tennis shoes.
Too funny and true. Perfect description!
