Its ironic that the industry that did it's best to elect Barack Obama to the presidency is now complaining that as President, he costing them too much revenue. But the Major networks are getting angry that President Obama keeps asking for so much time in the evening.
As you may imagine, Primetime TV draws the largest audiences and ad revenue. Every time the President preempts the normal evening viewing the networks lose that ad revenue. It is estimated that in the first four months of Obama's presidency the four major broadcast networks lost a total of $30 Million Dollars (and this during a recession).
The networks would really like to stop covering every presidential news conference live, but are afraid of presidential retribution:

The networks are cowardly. They have no problem hammering southerners, Catholics, the Bush Administration, or the religious right because they KNOW there won't be any real retribution.
Obama, homosexuals or muslims (I know, I'm repeating myself), though... they put their hands in their pockets and walk away quietly whistling. Catholics aren't going to firebomb Comedy Central and the Bush Administration wasn't going to threaten to yank their FCC licenses.

What they don’t understand is...this is what dictators and commies do...they suck up airtime anytime they want it...the govt. will have more regulation and control of tv soon enough.
I still see commercials with Obama in them like he is still campaigning. The clean coal one drives me up the f-cking wall.

How stupid can people be? They liked him when they thought his socialist agenda was going to be imposed only on some people. They forgot that under socialism everyone is subject to the socialist mandate.
