One more reason why I detest the left is that they are constantly trying to distort reality in the manner so accurately described by George Orwell. This may seem like a trivial example, but the in-your-face insistence that our first lady is some kind of smokin' hot babe is a case in point. All heterosexual men know that this is an outrageous lie. Who are they trying to kid, and why?
Look, we're talking about an average looking woman here. Sarah Palin is not going to lose any sleep over the comparison. But why is this lie being promulgated with such urgency and to such absurd lengths by the liberal media? There must be something more significant going on when someone is in such an insistent state of denial. It reminds me of the liberal love-fest over the Edwards' marriage a couple of years ago. How'd that work out?
Here is a typical tongue bath by closet lesbian columnist Sally Quinn. She says that the first lady's arms -- her arms, fer cryin' out loud -- "are representative of a new kind of woman: young, strong, vigorous, intelligent, accomplished, sexual, powerful, embracing and, most of all, loving."
Hmm. That's quite a devastating indictment. A young, intelligent, and sexy woman is a "new kind of woman"? This is insane. Not only is Quinn seeing something in Michelle that isn't there, but she's not seeing things that have always been there in abundance. Or perhaps she's never strolled through the UCLA campus on a warm September day. Oh, mama!

I believe you are correct in that assumption. Maybe that explains her virtual disappearance from the campaign trail for a while last year.
I don't think she's particularly bad looking, and in fact I think she looks quite nice in some of the shots I have seen, especially when she is smiling for real and not just posing.
But some of the CLOTHES she wears!!! GAWD.
Clearly Michelle Obama is one very unattractive woman. It is cruel of the libs. to be so condescending to refer to her as something she clearly is not.

I wonder how the lib media would have handled a pair like Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt? Now THEY would have really stretched the MSM’s image-creating talents.
They would have loved both: Franklin for cheating on his wife, and Eleanor for cheating on her husband in a lesbian affair.
So you don’t think they would have tried to somehow convince the public that Eleanor was a “Babe” as they did Hillary and now Michelle?
I don’t doubt that they would have enjoyed the couple’s extra-marital activity. That would have been right up their alley.
She is the bestlooking First Lady since Eleanor Roosevelt.

The left does care about looks. Here’s proof. Yet it’s the left that claims to champion the rights of the fat chick, the down trodden, the minorities of any kind. Who is aware of these ‘categories’ more than the left? So who is it really, that sees people differently?
The left is one big fraud, from goreball warming to minorities, race baiting, and every other divisive ploy known to man.
We see people for who they are based on their actions of choice.

Regardless, it was posted as a goof and more as a comment about liberals and lib values than anything about Mo, whom, I admit, I find singulary unattractive.
As you say, her looks are irrelevant. Her heart, however, is as chilly as Hussein’s which, I suppose, makes them an excellent match.
Strange... I’m not even sure how I got pulled over into this dated thread. My comments were meant as a general reaction the article. There are times when she doesn’t look bad, and other times when she’s not all that attractive.
What makes them a perfect match, is that before last year neither of them had any respect for this nation. She once opined that she now did, but the evidence is in. They loathe this nation and what it has stood for.
Obozo will literally kiss the ass of any tin pot dictator, but apoligize at length for our nation. What a pitiful predicament.
