Do you prefer to sit and think alone Or does the silence shake you like the thunder? Can you shut out distractions like the phone? Has worry killed your sense of awe and wonder? Has loss occurred and left a gaping hole Or have setbacks left you wanting to give in? Does heartbreak have you doubting your own soul? Is the universe your enemy or friend? Do you despair each time you see your face? Do past hopes and dreams seem like a waste of time? Do you wish you were in another place? Do you wonder if survival's worth the climb? The dark clouds linger but they, too, must go. The sun must shine, so let new flowers grow.
