N Korea Nuke Fooled Obama-But John Bolton Predicted it Five Days Ago in WSJ Article

This is a perfect example of the difference between someone with foreign policy policy experience versus an administration that learning the game as they go along. Early this morning North Korea detonated a nuclear bomb that was up to 20 times more powerful than the North's first nuclear test, showing off it scientific advances, and if to further prove its point North Korea test-fired three short-range missiles just a few hours later.

North Korea's decision to detonate a nuclear device underground Monday caught the United States by surprise, officials said.

"They didn't give us any warning whatsoever," one senior U.S. intelligence official who works on North Korean issues told FOX News.

Another official told Reuters that North Korea gave less than an hour's notice to the United States that it would carry out the test.

The official said the communist country made "no demands," and passed on the message that it would carry out the test through diplomats at the United Nations in New York City.

The senior intelligence official said that even after the demonstration at the Punggye nuclear test site, the only evidence of activity that analysts could see in aerial imagery was a "couple of spoil sites," or large holes.

President Obama's administration was caught totally surprised. But they wouldn't have been if they had read the article John Bolton wrote for the Wall Street Journal just five days ago in an article called, Get Ready for Another North Korean Nuke Test

Memo to Obummer: so much for appeasement of the world’s enemies.

(to be sung)

What is it (appeasement) good for? Absolutely nothin’!

It’s the powers that be that are weak kneed. No recent President has done a thing regarding NK or Iran’s nuke program.

Rogue and rich countries are the greatest threat to their goal of a One World Government.

Here is a clue Barack, He torched this thing off on Memorial day just to rub it in.

We are without leadership. and the stage is set for civil unrest if any of us try to say Barack is useless.

Didnt LiL Kim pop the last Nuke off last July 4?

We best start getting LOUD and PROUD.

Barack is a national eunuch

Not only is John Bolton almost always right, he is the only person ever sent to the UN who went with the realistic understanding that he was, as an American, DEEP in enemy territory.

In fact, it is no great error to say that every other ambassador to the UN has actively worked against the US while there - especially the disastrous Madeline Albright.

“Remember when Jimmy Carter was “surprised” by the Soviets?”

Yes, and I don't remember him admitting that others were right all along. The sad irony is that people like Obama think they know more about the world than the rest of us, but they actually know significantly less. They think we aren't advanced enough to see the world the way they do, but the reality is that their views are very basic and sophomoric and most have moved beyond their views. They think they are ‘nuanced’, but they actually fail to see the real complexities. And when it doesn't all work out the way they thought it would, they are surprised. This isn't about any of us being ‘smarter than’ etc.. It's about being real and not blinded by ideology. I would love for humanity to move beyond the point where we have to have armies and locks for our doors, and I actually have faith that humanity can someday achieve that. However, it's not going to happen because of the social engineering of some narcissistic public official.

Just a reminder that the IAEA has never ever stopped anyone from getting a nuke.

Their job, as they see it, is not to stop anyone from doing anything. Their job is to document it as it happens. And to do that they depend upon the country in question to voluntarily cooperate and self-report.

North Korea developed its first nuke just outside the watchful eyes of the UN inspectors who sat for 8 years watching an abandoned nuclear lab, while a couple of miles down the road the Koreans built a new lab and did all their work there.

Now the Iranians are doing more or less the same. They build their labs. The IAEA writes a lot of letters. The empty suits in Washington say there is nothing to worry about because they are a couple of years away from building a nuke. And then, of course, once its built, they’ll say there is nothing they can do, because Iran has a nuke.
