A freakin’ Constitutional and American disaster. The Marxist agenda continues to descend upon America.
Say Goodbye to freedom and liberty that our founders and forefathers so bravely fought for.
This is the last chance for the GOP to do something for America — it is filibuster time.

The NRA should bring out the big guns on this one.
We’ll see how many of those so-called “conservative Democrats” the Dems have run from conservative districts will vote for this gun-grabber.

Do you mean a liberal "make the law; don't adjucicate!" judge has been nominated??? By, of all folks, obammer, the first black communist, socialist president of the muslim US?
Fancy that!

""The Second Amendment applies only to limitations the federal government seeks to impose on this right. Maloney vs Cuomo"Now you've done it, you meddling conservative. :)
To: xzins
Also, here's one for you gun owners from Sotomayor herself: "The Second Amendment applies only to limitations the federal government seeks to impose on this right.
Does this mean she believes all Federal gun laws, with the exception of those imposing a nominal tax, are null and void?

The GOP couldn’t stop Hitler from being nominated. On the plus side, Obama did not actually select Hitler mostly because he was a white male.

This is the last chance for the GOP to do something for America it is filibuster time. The gop does not have the votes, the morals, nor the courage to "filibuster" this nomination.
Besides, it's tough to raise your hand when you're lying on your back in the "dying cockroach" position.
Don't look for any type of stall on this nomination at all.
And yes....this could well be yet another step toward the end of the US as we knew it.

Can’t determine if she is Catholic. She did attend the Catholic school system as a girl. Her parents are from Puerto Rico. Those 2 facts would make a presumption of Catholicism safe.

Fortunately, the RKBA is now settled law, reestablished prior to Bambi’s appointment. Also fortunate is the fact that the High Court probably won’t change much since a lib is replacing a lib.

It means that any state, county, locality, etc., can control guns all they want.

She’s from the school of make the law from the bench. That’s her religion.
And why Obama picked her.

This choice, liberal as it is, almost sits comfortably with me since, from a lot of sources I’ve read, she doesn’t have the mental capacity to hang with the likes of Scalia or Thomas. 0 will pick a lefty no matter what, might as well pick one that we can make fun of for 30 years.

The question I was responding to was: “Is she a Cino (catholic in name only)?”
Her background says that she probably is. That puts her in the same camp as folks like Teddy Kennedy.

The NRA should bring out the big guns on this one. Well see how many of those so-called conservative Democrats the Dems have run from conservative districts will vote for this gun-grabber.The RAT senator Nelson (as opposed to the RINO Martinez) in my state of FL has said he will oppose any "activist judges" so we'll see.....
