Climate Bill 1,105,000 job losses annually - Really?
The Daily Change ^ | 05282009 | TDC

Posted on 05/28/2009 9:44:04 AM PDT by TheDailyChange

Henry Waxman said this about his own climate bill.

“I certainly don’t claim to know everything in this bill, I know that we have left it to uh, we rely very heavily on the scientists.”

WHY can these so-called leaders write bills and then claim they do not know everything in the bill? They redirect and lay responsibility on other entities such as scientists in this case rather than taking responsibility and demonstrating knowledge of their own proposed legislation.

READ THE BILL!!!!

Didn’t he AUTHOR this bill? At the very least, as a sponsor he should be acquainted with its contents.

I guess we better all learn to live in mud huts and scratch our food out of the dirt. Or maybe eat bark?

Hence the reason why the bill came with a stealth unemployment package.....

A million jobs, that is only two months worth of the obama economy...I thought it would be much worse.

Green jobs is Luddite nonsense.

It would be preferable if we could obtain energy with fewer jobs for less money. Then we would have more to spend on hospitals and schools and homes and vacations and other neat things. It we have to spend all our time in the bogs digging up peat, we won't have time or money for anything else.

My ancestors fled a continent to get away from that kind of life.

Yep, they are trying to pass all this stuff, IRS is down some 30-40%; will be down further if they pass this. Can’t these folks add and subtract???

“Can’t these folks add and subtract???”

I doubt it. Arithmetic is pretty black-and-white, which doesn’t resonate with liberals unless you’re talking skin color.

I forget the guy’s name, but I remember a comedian joking about his weight: “I’ve only been thin twice in my life, once while I was in Vietnam and once while I was on heroin. I don’t recommend either one.”

In Dunvegan in the Isle of Skye, they use peat to heat their homes and use the ashes as fertilizer to grow things. And there are a bunch of red-heads to go on a date with when the day is over.

Not when guys with Porsches who don't smell like peat moss come driving into town.

Waxman: " ... we rely very heavily on the scientists.”

That's selected prostitute scientists, Henry, specifically those funded by government grant money (tax money, taken from hard working Americans and used against them) to provide skewed research and GI/GO computer climate models to provide cover for yet another greedy Big Government takeover. You and the rest of the greedy congressional clowns ignore the 700+ honest scientists who signed the Manhattan Declaration.

"Yep, they are trying to pass all this stuff..."

*Trying*???
Don't mean to sound fatalistic, but, who's going to stop 'em?

America's Liberal-Socialists led by their Black beard are in the process of ramming an awful lot through, right *now*.
Oh, and while they can & long before their own supporters figure out the ruse & begin demanding, "Enough!".
'Til then the order of [their] day is: Anything goes.

"IRS is down some 30-40%; will be down further if they pass this."

My friend.
Socialists couldn't care less what the IRS does or doesn't get. Honest.
If there're people who've yet to figure out the scheme by now?
They will, soon.

Good ol' Rahm told all, "Never waste a good crisis.".
Right?
While Rahm's *brother* says a VAT of 15%+ is the way to go.
There ya have it. :^)

"Can’t these folks add and subtract???"

Depends whose money, property and lives they want to count. Everything else is, frankly, irrelevant.
No?

Don't believe what you hear, simply look at what they've done and are fixin' to do. ;^)
