Agreed, this is their last chance to show that they have the semblence of balls. I know they don’t have the votes to stop the confirmation, I just want to see them get a spine and calmly question Sotomoyer about her decisions and comments. If they give her a pass, I will end my Republican registration and go Independent. They will never get an other dime from me. To save this country we need a fearless, rightous loyal opposition. It seems that the community consensus here is that there are too many RINOs. My view is that there are too few Republicans of ANY ideological stripe. You're kidding yourself if you think that a conservative bloc of at most 30% of the electorate can constitute a governing majority. We need "moderates" in the Party or conservates will achieve 0% of our principled conservative priorities. That's just the way the world works whether we like it or not.

There's too much energy spent dwelling on how Pubbie office holders differ with our individual priorities rather than those areas where our priorities are in concert. JMO.

Kansas58 is going to “why can’t we all get along” us into socialist handcuffs. We have let the Repubs natter away while the Dems and Obama ate their lunch. Why, to win elections? Have you seen the results of the last couple of election? We are past the point of no return.

The Repubs suck, when they win elections they can’t help but screw governing up. They never seem to govern the way we thought they would when we voted for them. I strongly suggest they get reaquainted with the constitution and the writing of our founding fathers and speak on principal and not worry about how it sounds to the “moderates” and the media. I want statesmen damn it! It’s time!
