Almost perfect, Sarah, but I wouldn’t have even mentioned Tiller.
Not even a passing glance.
You have to mention both, though, to point out the bias. She phrased it in this way to demonstrate the double standard. And it is a double standard.
It's good of her to mention our fallen Soldiers, and doubly so because in contrast, it shows how small Tiller really was.
I think she did the right thing by mentioning Tiller; it clearly shows the contrast in the way the two stories have been treated by Obama and the media. Many folks don’t believe the media is biased and statements like this that make the point very well may convince some to open their eyes to what is going on in this country.
But the whole point was to call attention to the crickets chirping as opposed to the trumpets blaring.
Beautifully done, too.
Sorry - but the Tiller case has gotten far more attention that it should have - and has basically overshadowed this much larger story of domestic terrorism. I would definitely have mentioned the Tiller shooting. The shooting of the abortionist is being pinned on Conservatives/Christians where it does not belong. By specifically saying that his shooting, regardless of our feelings about the man (monster), was wrong.
