More than 20,000 people turned out to see Palin lead a parade through downtown Auburn and sign a proclamation honoring Seward, the 19th-century Secretary of State who negotiated the $7.2 million deal with Russia for Alaska, which is celebrating its 50th year of statehood.

Thats not new news to most people. It doesnt lessen the impact they have on millions of people.

I have noticed she's managed to keep them of Jerry Springer for a while. Thats what she needs for th next 3 years.

Please add me to the ping list. Thank you. I was in Auburn yesterday and the crowd was electric and Sarah Palin was FANTASTIC. Decent people really LOVE Sarah Palin. I think all she has to do for 2012 is simply ignore her handlers and be herself. Her outter beauty is only surpassed by her inner beauty. The main reason the rabid left hates her so much is b/c the evil in them is terrified of the goodness in her.

I hope. I have no doubt she is a more savvy politician than many here who attempt to speak on her behalf.

Her outter beauty is only surpassed by her inner beauty.

Is it even possible to surpass her outer beauty?

Ok, I am starting to like Palin more each day. The mere fact that she hasn’t crawled into a hole from the treatment she received from the state sponsored media speaks volumes for me.

I'm not going to argue that Palin is the smartest politician out there (I'll just state she's intelligent enough).

I will though argue that after the catastrophe called Barky HussaneBama; next election college pedigree and “intellectual framework” will be overrated. What good does it do to be able to pronounce foreign dignitaries’ names and know the geography of Afghanistan when you have no moral compass, no leadership skill and you hate America?

I’d say being CnC, knowing the geography of Afghanistan is quite vital

I am in the “wait and see” mode with Governor Palin. A year ago this time nobody knew who she was, including people on this website. So excuse me if I take some time to buy into the hype

I am rooting for her though, in particular after the vicious campaign of the left against her. She clearly has the underdog story and it would be great to see her overcome the odds. However, she has to show me something, besides just speeches. I want a real platform based on real conservative principles that is articulated in a manner that can win people in places like Northern Virginia (who have historically been center right)

Until then, I am a “wait and see” person. I made the mistake with GWB of trusting him too early

Governor Palin must now start to demonstrate the intellectual framework of her agenda and a clear intellectual understanding of the issues that this current President is going to leave the country

If she can intelligently articulate the problems of this country, and the proper solutions, she can be a force. That stupid Katie Couric interview still haunts her, and she still has a bit to do before she can start to regain the middle.*****

OK so so Intellectual - Katie Courie interview still haunts her? Are you claiming to be a mind reader or what? Everyone but the braindead know that THAT interview was HIGHLY edited.

Articulate the problems of this Country? Guess you missed of her GREATEST speeches just recently. Even Rush talked about this Speech. Please go do your homework.

People like you epitomize the problem with the fanatical Palin fans here. Someone so much as suggests she has a political problem (not even an ideological or personal problem, simply a problem with how people perceive her), and you attack him. He wasn't even advocating another candidate, but rather wishing her the best. But he's still worthy of attack, because he doesn't toe the line that Palin is perfect in every way.

It's obvious the Couric interview is still an issue, since it still impacts how many people see her; you're in denial if you don't recognize. But it's impossible to have a reasonable discussion with you people. As I stated earlier, I certainly don't dislike Palin, but I strongly dislike some of her supporters here.

Greg...try to keep up....google her inteview wih Couric....Google her daughters baby daddy's interviews with Lary King and the rest of the tabloids press. She brought the kids into this for political gain and now hey are cannon fodder.

Hey then start googling then the presses treatment of Sarah Palin during and since the campaing.

Its not hard for reasonable people to see the problem.

Thats the truth and its politics, it sucked and she most likely was following orders , but its the truth.

You know her interview with Couric was set up by an old Couric employee/friend.

After the first interview went bad she was forced into another, and did it...and payed the price.

Look man the truth is the truth, even if its hard to swallow.

If she can keep the kids of the news, keep the fans coming in droves she stands a chance.

But if she walks into interviews like a rookie interview, or lets her kids or baby daddy do interview after interview with the New York media she doesnt stand a chance.

I want to win. If someone else shows me the same conservative priciples as Sarah and less bagagge I will consider them.

Who the hell is talking about the Couric interview? I sure wasn't. If you want to take issue with what I said, don't change the subject.

You asserted she trotted out her children for political gain which is a bunch of crap. She introduced her family to the nation on Aug. 29 like any other politician would. The MSM dispatched hordes of people to Alaska to dig up dirt on her family. The rest is history. They pounced on her children like a bunch of damn hyenas.

Peddle your dissembling crap to someone who might fall for it.
