You’re both right. I believe that there will eventually be some violence, but let the violence be brought to us and not the reverse.
This is why the revolution must happen through the state governments. States must re-assert their sovereignty, refuse to enforce, or allow to be enforced, unconstitutional edicts, and let the feds attempt to use coercive force to impose their will on the states. At that point, we "repel the invasion".
