I tried to make the case it might be gum, but someone posted close-ups of another pair of shoes oif his and it was definitely holes. My father always said you tell a gentleman by his shoes.

It's not the sheeple that worry me. I have friends that are educated, well read, a couple are even great with programming computers, which indicates a good grasp of logic. And yet, they fail to see even the clearest examples of wrongdoing with this administration...
Is it that there are levels of intelligence, and these people do not have all required levels? Is it that they are ashamed to admit their failure to see through his shell during the campaign? I don't know, but it breaks my heart to see such talent and intellect lost to the dark side.
