Setting the Record Straight: Holocaust Museum Shooter Is a Leftist
Vocal Minority ^ | 6/16/09 | EricTheRed_VocalMinority

I realize I’m a little late to the party with this one; that’s what happens when you get several days behind in website reading and podcast listening ...

I nearly lost it when I heard El Rushbo play a montage of cable news commentators label Holocaust Museum shooter James von Brunn some symptom of right-wing hate and violence. From MSNBC’s gruesome twosome Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann to Salon editor-in-chief Joan Walsh to several Huffington Post columnists and even the sometimes-sensible Alan Colmes, the template was that von Brunn was a conservative whose hate for Jews was influenced by the likes of George W. Bush, Karl Rove, Fox News, and, of course, conservative talk radio.

Here’s a reality check for all these fact-allergic liberal-lefties:

James von Brunn is a hater of Christianity as well as Judaism—which is a left-wing position. He despises George W. Bush and John McCain—which is a left-wing position. He hates neo-cons (read: Jewish Republicans)—which is a left-wing position. He thinks 9/11 was an inside job plotted by the U.S. and Israeli government—which is a left-wing position. He hates capitalism and deemed socialism as the “future of the West” —which is a left-wing position. The bottom line is that the Holocaust Museum shooter was as far from being a right-winger as anyone can imagine. On the contrary, he is quite close to being a textbook Leftist.

In fact, it should (but won’t) shock my Obama-worshiping Jewish friends and relative that three of the above points apply to President Golden Calf himself. At least

He is certainly no conservative, but if you look at his writings, he is certainly no leftist/liberal either. He attacks all sides in his writings, and apparently believes that the entire left-right dichotomy as a fraud perpetuated by the Jews.

Sometimes crazy is just crazy, and sometimes nutcases defý political categorization.

Oh come on! You actually expect the ‘intellects’ to comprehend anything like this?

Heck, I had to prove a bet that the NAZI’s were a SOCIALIST political group. They kept equating them with Republicans and I was like, “The NAZI’s were for government regulation and socialism!”

I got called a liar and everything else until they finally saw that NAZI was German for the National Socialist Party.

It’s really hard to argue with 30 odd years of indoctrination.
