Skyscrapercity.com has an interesting thread.
It was warned that the Baseej regime thugs would mark homes of suspected rebels with paint. People were tried to be warned to remove it ASAP.
CNN has a night time video (the audio is more telling and shocking) of probably these marked homes being stormed by govt. thugs.
Coming to a neighborhood near you.
Seems to me this is a “people who live in glass houses scenario”. Presumably, Baseej thugs have homes too. Molotov cocktails aren’t discriminatory.
Fans of “Spartacus” would probably just mark every home with the paint.
I guess the Baseej then would have stormed every house in the street...
The actual video footage is nothing, but the audio is very disturbing. Damn, between that and the Neda video, I’m going to have a hard time sleeping tonight.

One counter to this might be to go out and mark each home for miles with paint.

They seem to be doing a lot of interesting things in response to the marking. They’re removing the marking with petrol/benzine/oil/turpentine. They’ve removing street signs or switching street signs to confuse. Also, removing numbers from houses.

My younger brother was very active in the riots against Noriega. One day, he noticed the pavement to the entrance of his garage had been “decorated” a little with luminescent green paint. He found out this was the way of singling out homes for Noriega’s thugs to invade when they were ready to make their move against the population.

The actions taken by Iranians to protect against the authorities makes the tracking of our doors with the GPS for the census rather nefarious.
