This is stooooooooooooopid. Really stoooooooooooooopid.

These are the questions that they ask every census.

I use census data frequently and I have used most of these catagories. Most of the questions go back decades. Some of the reasons are obvious. Time of leaving for work helps compute road capacity needs and commute time. The indoor plumbing question goes back, I think, to the 1920 census when they were trying to potty train the South. There's nothing evil in here and it's been standard for years.

The problem with that is that it is a gross and unconstitutional misuse of taxpayers money to collect this sort of intrusive information and it’s even worse to provide it to private individuals or corporations who are too cheap to go out and conduct their own polls if they even have legitimate need for that sort of information, which I contend you do NOT. If you think you do, YOU PAY FOR ITS COLLECTION. And I would tell you what I will be telling the census people: MIND YOUR OWN F*&^ing business.

OK, yes the 2000 Census did ask for what time one left for work.

2000 Census

So I have decided I will only answer the questions that were asked on the 2000 Census.

From the article:

To assist in the hiring of census takers, the Obama Administration has opted to partner with the following special interest groups (not one of which represents the despised race of whites who settled this country):

* ACORN
* 100 Black Men of America
* African American Women’s House of Imagene (sic) Shelter
* American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee
* Arab American Institute
* Asian American Federation
* Asian American Justice Center, etc, etc..

Does their involvement in the U.S. Census go back to the 1920’s as well? Do you agree with the Obama administration that only minority-centric groups should be used to “assist” in collecting data on a nation of 300+ million people?

Well, I can see where indoor plumbing was easier to sell in areas where the temperatures get below zero in the winter....

US Constitution, Article I, Section 2: “…The actual Enumeration shall be made within three years after the first meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent term of ten years, in such manner as they shall by law direct…”

US Constitution, Amendment IV: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

It appears that there may be a conflict of rights here. Using the Census for any purpose than enumeration appears to cross the line into seizing information from citizens.

Stop right there and consider.........that was way back when the census was untainted by politics.

That was long before the WH was controlling the census----getting its hands on info to be used for political purposes.

That was long before the calculated Rahm Emanuel was manipulating the census to build a permanent Dem majority w/ the replies.

That was long before ID theft prevailed-----which is a distinct possibilty today....... with the nefarious ACORN getting ahold of the info.

Americans counted way back when. Now the census will enshrine illegal hyphanates as the "new majority" (a political goal of the Obamatons).

The potential for wrongdoing is breathtaking.

And every one of those questions is and has been un-Constitutional. Nor should YOU have access to the information. The Census is NOT the "US Bureau of Statistics". The ONLY legitimate question to be asked in the census is how many residents at an address, and that is ALL I will answer.

I agree with you on most points.

What I object to is WHO is collecting the data.I would want a trusted source, not Acorn.
