Silly Debates?
Annuit Coeptis ^ | June 28, 2009 | Jay Henderson

The Democrats have a new buzzword: “silly.” The next goal of the Democrats, according a recent Senate campaign fundraising letter, is to “end silly debates about whether tax cuts for the rich trickle down or global warming exists.”

Silly debates? So if the Democrats get more Senate seats, there will be no more discussion about tax cuts or global warming. All manner of subjects will be closed. Because to disagree with a Democrat is just plain silly. Well, that certainly clarifies what Obama meant by “post-partisan,” now, doesn’t it? Thus is it demonstrated that the words “liberal” and “liberty” no longer have anything in common.

Whenever I have the misfortune of seeing Ted Kennedy’s bloated carcass, the words “silly putty” enter my mind unbidden. It’s just the strangest thing.

Given how the use of “debate” is continually played by the Barry Administration and Democrats, no doubt that after all is said in done in Iran, a “robust debate” will and has become a “silly debate.”

=.=

I wonder if “condescensionists” is a word. If not, it should be.

Exactly. How will they “end debates” and reconcile that with the 1st Amendment? Impossible unless they find a way around it. Thoughtcrime anyone?

The enforcement of the no-debates idea may prove difficult. If these loons are aspiring to be fascists, I question their intelligence - - they are being condescending toward that half of the population that is not only armed to the teeth (more or less 200,000,000 firearms and at least 50,000,000,000 rounds of ammunition) but also makes up the bulk of those serving in the National Guard. What would they do - - order us to round ourselves up and put ourselves in detention?

Well, the KGB had a plan for dealing with this very situation, according to Yuri Bezmenov, in an interview from 1985. He claimed that the plan was to put the majority of US military forces in conflicts around the world, and meanwhile infiltrate foreign military troops onto U.S. soil, who would then be given the task of suppressing any dissent. The reasoning was that, a Czech or Chinese soldier, for example, would be much more willing to shoot American civillians that an American National Guardsmen. Check out the video here if you haven't seen it, it's pretty frightening:
