Are Rioting Iranian Voters Just A Bunch Of Sore Losing Democrats?

We Americans saw what a fuss Al Gore made in our 2000 Presidential election (after he promised not to challenge), and we witnessed how Floridians could not accurately punch ballots, all the while Al Gore's people pushed our people through weeks of court wrangling not unlike his partner in crime, Bill Clinton, during the Lewinsky affair. That was so long ago that we had no idea what crooks and cheats inhabited Obama's ACORN.
Now we see Iran going through a similar, yet more deadly dust up, involving the more conservative, religious and military backed badman Ahmdinejab vs the more Progressive and U.S. friendly, Mousavi.
Iran's State Controlled Media claims that Imadinnerjacket won resoundly, while America's own State Controlled Media, that Great Satan, the New York Times is going with the more "liberal" candidate who is pro nuke and less desirable to Israel because he would not be as noticeable to the world as the infamous Imadinnerjacket.
Questionable polls before the Iranian election gave Mousave a thirty percent lead, yet the actual elections gave Imadinnerjacket thirty percent more votes and election victory from the 36 million who voted in the elections. Each voting precinct recounted less than 1000 votes per precinct, and that is why the votes may have been recounted so easily, and so quickly. No, I do not trust Iranian voter counts, and I cannot trust the Real Great Satan, the NY Times ,and the rest of the state Controlled Media while they rile up the West to condemn Iran.
It is very difficult to side with the Islamic conservatives v. the progressives, especially since conservatives, for sure, would not mind sending Israel "into the sea," as well as stoning adulterous women. They stone gays to death and, forgive me,Lord, I have trouble shedding tears for that one, but perhaps, there are better ways of dealing with those type of people who run Hollywood and are masters at Interior Decorating.
Under the stricter religious code I have noticed that the average Joe and Jane Iraniann (or Ahmed and Ahmette) are quite likable and modest - a quality we have not seen in the U.S since the early 1960's. Iranian women have a natural modesty and purity about them which is much like America before the Hippies and Affirmative Action.
As repressive as Iran is, the Iranian women are not at all like the cheating, spoiled, assertive, stubborn, selfish, and, many times overweight, once Sugar and Spice And Everything Nice Girls which have been created by the Democrat Party and Affirmative Action. Sorry, but the Iranian ladies are, generally more like "The Girl Who Married Dear Old Dad." Except for the headscarves.
Don't believe me? How about the old Rock Group Guess Who?
The Guess Who - American Woman Lyrics @1970
American Woman, stay away from me
American Woman, mama let me be
Don't come a hangin' around my door
I don't wanna see your face no more
I got more important things to do
Than spend my time growin' old with you
Now Woman, I said stay away
American Woman, listen what I say-ay-ay-ay-ay-ay [BTW Thank Lib Men for the American Woman]

The Guess Who - American Woman I detest that band. Self-righteous hypocrisy from a bunch of drugged out rock stars. I'm sure they loved America's money, drugs and groupies.

Everyone needs to drop the Mousavi vs Ahmadinejad banner.
This quickly went beyond the election to a protest against the regime itself.
Anyone still talking about this as though it’s about the election has their head in the sand

Is there a point to this? If so it’s well hidden.

From what I can gather, Ahmanutjob did legitimately win (yes there was fraud, but not enough to make/break the result), the protestors are largely limited to a leftist-like strata of society (urban, academic, tech-savvy, Twittering, Western-lingual), their approach to their grievance is waving banners and yelling, their preferred candidate has oppressive leanings and background, and their definition of “freedom” seems rather different from ours. Looked promising at first, but like someone else’s mantra of “change!” what they’ll get will be very different from what they think they’re calling for. So yes, this massive protest is looking ever more like a sore-loser leftist whinefest.
(I really hate to put it that way. My hopes were high.)

Care to elaborate? I’m not seeing much call for replacing the mullahs for any reason beyond seating Mousavi.

The answer to the question:
If the real vote was as the leaked election results stated. That Mahmoud Ahmadinejad came in 3rd in the race.
NO, they are not sore loosers, but have a real reason to overthrow the Government. The citizens all know the truth, only those in power still think they can suppress this. If they have as reported arested 2000 people over the demonstrations, this is one bad can of worms.
There are survivors in all massacres, when this runs its course it will not be pretty.
The Persians are smart people, and I cannot believe the bravery of the Persian youth and the Twitter comments I have read. Like the pic called “the last great act of defiance”. Except this time the mouse might beat the eagle.
It is amazing to cut and paste the Farsi and machine convert it (with all its flaws). A little cryptic but very interesting.

This is from an Iranian blog: Amir, Mashhad, aged 23: Please let the world know the people of Iran are using the election and its outcome as an excuse, their real problem is the whole system and the corrupt regime of the Islamic Republic. Anything that happens to us is because of this religion. How can I make you understand, religious beliefs are personal and should not be enforced on the public.
And protestors are shouting "Death to Khamenei" on the rooftops.

Ah, now we’re getting somewhere.
Are they showing any interest in doing anything more about their shouts than more shouting?

The only weapons they have are rocks, fire, and strength in numbers. They have no 2nd amendment over there. They’re doing just about all they can do. What we need is the CIA to funnel weapons to them, but under the great 0 that won’t happen.
To: G8 Diplomat
Without support within the military, such change won’t happen.
