Obama's Latest Broken Campaign Promise/Lie

Obama blasted McCain for his desire to tax health insurance benefits. Now, he wants to do the same thing. Obama said in 2008, "John McCain's health care plan "leaves you on your own to pay McCain’s health insurance tax."

It was a horrible tax when McCain wanted it, but now its another urgent crisis to be met by Obama's brilliance. This exclusion is your biggest tax benefit. There are billions in government revenue waiting to be stripped from American pockets.

Obama's latest effort is to be "fairer and more equitable" for everyone in order to fund "free" national healthcare for us. It may force many having health insurance into bankruptcy like those with serious medical problems.

Who can stand an additional tax hit of $4,200.00 for coverage of repair of a torn ACL, or additional tax of $16,800 owed to Obama in case of bypass surgery?...

Here's another promise to be broken. Obama said last year, "I don't want any misunderstanding when you all go home, and you're talking to your buddies, and they say, "Aw, he wants to take my gun away." You've heard it here; I'm on television, so everybody knows it. I believe in the Second Amendment. I believe in people's lawful right to bear arms. I will not take your shotgun away. I will not take your rifle away. I won't take your handgun away. ... There are some common-sense gun safety laws that I believe in. But I am not going to take your guns away. So if you want to find an excuse not to vote for me, don't use that one. ... It just ain't true."

What "ain't true" today becomes policy for Obama tomorrow. What he says on television on any given day does not make those words truth and policy tomorrow...

No shortage to this guy’s lying. He’s just not as good at it as Bill Clinton.
He makes up for it though in sheer bravado.

Apparently believes that the constant lying has worked this far. Why stop now.
The media doesn’t call him on any of it.

In fact they work to support it.

The Lie Clock

A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.

He asked, “What are all those clocks?”

St. Peter answered, “Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move.”

“Oh,’ said the man, “whose clock is that?”

“That’s Mother Teresa’s. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie.”

“Incredible,’ said the man. “And whose clock is that one?”

St. Peter responded, “That’s Abraham Lincoln’s clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life.”

“Where’s Obama’s clock?” asked the man.

“Obama’s clock is in Jesus’ office . . . He’s using it as a ceiling fan.”

Is there anything available explaining what the taxing of health benefits entails? The initial impression I had was that the employer contribution toward the insurance premium was the part to be taxed. Though I wondered about “imputed” benefits— and now in this blog there is the reference to “an additional tax hit of $4,200 for coverage of repair of a torn ACL...”

So, is this taxing health benefits concept all jello-y with tons of wiggle room? Or has it been outlined somewhere?

Thanks...

He's God D*mn right about that, but not in the way that he thinks!

Further, the man is not capable of speaking the truth and everything that comes out of his mouth is a bald-faced lie. He's positively Orwellian.
