If you have 1/3 of the country behind then why not form a strong third party?????? She can do it and it would beat both the Demonrats and the GOP.

The objective on the national level is to win 270 votes to win the Presidency. Can you demostrate how that could be accomplished within the current framework. Perot got almost 20% of the popular vote in 1992 and zero electoral college votes.

Do you proposed to change the election process and go to a popular vote process?

Gov. Palin is a Republican and working within it.

No third party has won or will win.
Third Parties always give you Democrat Presidents.

I strongly suspect she is going to form a very strong third party. She thinks that the Dems and the establishment GOP are corrupt and in fact the GOP unfixable and corrupt. She is going to do what she did to win the Governorship of Alaska. She will run against the GOP and the DEMS.

Those folks are a very good start, yes, as long as they keep up the heat after the Tea Parties are over and done.

No, primarily because she won’t form a new party.

If she’s smart, anyway.

First off, Sarah Palin isn't going to be unemployed; she's going to be a community organizer. She's already said that she intends to go around the country and help conservatives, regardless of party, win office.

That said, the GOP may be as close to collapse now as the Whigs were, and for similar reasons. It could well be revived. It could well be destroyed and a new party take it's place. I think the far easier path would be to revive it and restaff it with actual conservatives. If the entrenched dead-enders want to die defending RINO hill, then the harder path may be the only way.

Only if we can convince Hillary to start a 4th party. Otherwise, there is zero chance of success.

They also don't mention all of the governors that left their jobs early to take other, more fun jobs in Obama's cabinet.

To say nothing of Obama himself. Or Biden. Or Hillary.

There is a million conservatives march on Washington in the

Precisely.

I ask what her platform would be and you retort implies that any reply other than Yes supports Obama? Sorry, but I’m not signing on anything where it’s contents are kept secret.

Who said anything about supporting the Osama? Look at all the millions of people who bought the "hope and change". What fools. They simply absorbed the pablum fed by zero and was happy. Don't do that.

Who said anything about secret?

I am saying let her know what you want. Don't sit at the computer typing into FR criticizing this and that. Take the initiative and do something proactive instead of reactive. As a dentist you should know the value of preventative care. While giving your opinion here e-mail her, go on her facebook account, give her information she can use to form a platform which you would accept. DO NOT BE PASSIVE. That is ruining our country as we discuss this.

No. I will not support a third party . . . it’s political suicide for Conservatives.

But, I will contribute to her PAC and volunteer to help her get her (our) message out within the GOP.

Yes...

1) Both Parties are corrupt to the core.

2) Both parties have completely lost touch with middle class America.

3) Both parties are more concerned with getting media brownie points than representing their districts or states

4) Both parties are controled by special interest groups

5) Both parties are beyond being reformed from within.

There are SOME members of both parties who still are ethical but the governing body is cancer ridden.

Yes, I am aware that 3rd parties historically do not win and there is a good chance that Obama is reelected.

However, at this point in history, I do not see the GOP ever having a ‘come to Jesus’ moment with their conservative wing. The beltway GOP insiders consider us the same way the Democrats consider their black voters....good for votes but quite frankly They have no use for us.

Personlly , I would vote for Palin in a third party in a heartbeat...I’ve had enough and I’m not alone.
