Camp Quest bills itself as the first sleep-away camp for atheists, with funding from Richard Dawkins and special programs designed to replace faith in God with faith in "community." Guaranteed to creep you out.

Campfire singing: "What a Friend We Had in Madalyn Murray O'Hare"

Activities: "God doesn't exist so let's wear lightning rods during a thunderstorm"
Nature study: "Safe handling of venomous snakes"
Naughty Richy, are we going to have to sic Ben Stein on you again?!?!
God-haters at it again.
The guy on the radio show was crazy! He said that the summer camp was a religious camp. They’re atheists; they don’t believe in religion. It seems that whenever Christians want to make fun of atheists, they always resort to saying that atheism is a religion. Well, if it is then why are they attacking it? If they are attacking atheism for being a religion, they should attack Christianity for being a religion. If not believing in religion is so bad, then they should attack atheism for NOT being a religion, not for being a religion. Maybe those who claim it is a religion have their own doubts about their own beliefs?
Atheism actually does have many of the hallmarks of religious belief, witness this atheist “faith camp.”
And, attacking it as such points out the unconstitutionality of this state-sponsored religion.
*points out the unconstitutionality of this state-sponsored religion*
What are you saying here?
I’m saying that atheism is a state sponsored religion in direct violation of the so-called “Establishment Clause” in the Constitution. School children are proselytized into this religion from a very early age by government schools, the funding of which is not optional for any productive citizen.
How are school children proselytized into atheism?
That isn’t what I have experienced.
This is all part of Dawkins tactic of having society stepping in to stop religious parents from doing so and his hopes that this might lead children to choose no religion at all.
