I assume she’s a donk since the article doesn’t say? (Pretty safe bet - bad news about a pol without party named = donk almost always.)

From the ridge above New Market.

Let's hear it again boys.
What we need is some one who will do the right thing.
Ok DB what is the right thing.
Why you know, some one who doesn't know what a sick bunch of child molesting SOB’s we are.

The NC repubs. have to be the most inept, incompetent bozos on the entire planet. The RATS nominated Mizis Perdue to get rid of her. What did the know nothing molesters, chesters and prof. Humberts do?

Nominate the mayor of Charlotte. The RATS have got the goods on some of the top Rinos. Do some homework. Check the Washington DC police reports for Jan. 20, 1981. Look closely at the prominent names from the old north state contained there in.

YES, PERDUE is ANOTHER DEMOCRATIC DISASTER which will ensure NC’s continuing slide into economic oblivion.

OK.... I give you part of that. I’ve put in a lot more time than i’ve gotten paid for. But I don’t argue that that the exception.

Still. The “union” gets no respect for the electeds. They are pretty much a joke.

Not to mention the wife of the former Governor Easley getting a 188,000 per year job at NC State University - which has resulted in the resignations of 3 top NCSU officials.

Corruption is now what the C stands for in NC.

We have become a shame and a disgrace.

LOL - sad but true. Slowly but surely, NC is becoming a backwater state again because EMPLOYERS do NOT want to do business here where the tax rates only go UP on businesses and on peeople.

These employers close down or move overseas or move to more attractively sane states who have figured that if you lower corporate and business taxes, the employers the corporations BRING their businesses and their JOBS and their taxes they do pay to the state and help reduce the deficit and the jobless rate.

What part of NC did you visit?

Thanks for that link. I don’t think it’s that association which I meant - but it is the UNION of City, County, and State government workers that provides the cash that keeps these Dems in power.

I thought it was the Dems in the House who did not want to lay off many state government workers which is why they are fighting with Perdue over how to meet the NC Consitutional requirement of a balanced budget.

In other words - neither Perdue or the Legislature want to reaise the ire of the Government Workers UNIONS by having to lay off MANY more in the bureacracy of state government just as businesses have had to lay off workers by the millions in this country because they cannot stay in business any other way.....

So these Dems MUST raise our taxes in NC - sales tax, tax on movies, tax on cigarettes, tax on roads.....they do not know HOW to cut spending because they refuse to lay off the number of workers in State government that would balance the budget - but would take away the votes that keep them in power!

Soooooo, up the taxes and down our economy they go!

Oh, yikes, Durham. Nice to know you are a fellow NCarolinian....but sorry about the Durham thing.....

Durham is NC Government in microcosm. Corrupt to the core in its city government.

But, they have Duke, doncha know.
