The campaign to make Obama produce an official long certificate is stirring up Americans all over the country demanding that Obama prove that he truly is an American citizen. Listen to what happened at a recent town hall meeting with Republican Congressman Mike Castle (DE)concerning the Obama birth certificate, and listen to this pansy Congressman deal with his constituents. This Congressman better be worried about his job in 2010 if this is the best answer he has, which is similar to an answer Roy Blunt gave me. Why are Republicans protecting Obama in this matter?

I would “drop it” as well...but, the next question is how and why so many in power, carried the water for so long? Too many have fallen into lockstep to protect one man, and I have to ask why? Why were the responsibilities of a free press, and the Constitutional adherence of our elected officials were all waived to bring and keep one man in power?
That absolutely needs to be addressed going forward. The FEC and ALL the states’ attorney’s general need to REQUIRE proof of eligibility. The fact they have not for all these years is criminal.
So, let's out-flank the media and ask the question as you have formed it? Take a position of "the foregone conclusion" (ref: Gloabl Warming science).

The “birth certificate” issue is tangential. If it were produced I, personally, would “trust but verify”. My point is, however, that the certificate itself is irrelevant. Barry Soetoro is the son of a British subject. He lacks “singular allegiance” to the United States of America. The only citizens excused from this requirement were those living at the time of the signing of Constitution. Accepting Mr. Obama as POTUS opens the door for any foreign despot (Putin, Ahmadinejad, Kim Jong-il, etc.) to father a child in America and purchase (usurp) the leadership of the United States for that child in due time. The Founders took precautions against that possibility, and we would be wise to enforce them.
Any good marxist will tell you, the will of the people trumps any existing law. Elections are not to be overturned.
Castle is a tool. He has never done anything but gubment. He is a koolaid drinker who lives at the public trough.

Castle was very confused about the pledge of allegance. He just didn’t know what to do.
We wouldn’t hire these people to do a job for us why should they be hired to represent us?

Without even listening to the tape, I know that Castle NEVER answers a question. He’s one of those entitled elites that never had to work a day in his life and constantly ignores the people - until election time.
After his cap and trade betrayal, I informed Republican Headquarters that he does not get my vote - even if a dead dog is running against him.
When this finally “breaks” and comes out mainstream...it will I believe, rock everything. Not just the Constitutional/government upheaval (what did Biden know, and when did he know it?) But it will change (forever) media. THEY (print, TV, radio) all let us (the country) down. Who kept this alive? Who is correcting this malfeasance? The blogosphere. Who will ever trust media again, when THEY were part of the cover up from the start of the Obama Coronation process?
Given how easy this is all to clear up.
Where there is smoke there is fire.
First, all an Hawaiian birth certificate, if it exists, would establish is that Obama is a citizen. The Constitution requires more. It requires that he be a natural-born citizen. This is a phrase that had a very specific meaning to the Framers and that is that his parents had to be citizens.
Second, if Obama merely "produces" this birth certificate and shows it to Katie Couric, allows this RINO Congressman to inspect it, or even posts another jpeg image on the internet, I wouldn't accept the proffer. Obama has already shown himself to be deceptive and untrustworthy. The only "production" I would accept is if he waived his Hawaiian right to privacy and authorized the government there to sell raised seal certified copies at their usual fee to anyone who requests them. Then maybe three months after the first such copies have been delivered to random citizens, and no reasonable claims of fraud (ala Polarik) have arisen, then I would probably accept it. It ain't gonna happen.

There is not one scintilla of difference between Republicans and Democrats in the Congress today except some have an "R" after their name and some have a "D". Most of them believe that they are now members of an exclusive club and, if they don't support one another, they could become the next target of our wrath!!

No. If you are an athlete, are you automatically a natural-born athlete? See this thread with the Oxford English Dictionary history of the usage of this phrase; and do as they suggest and compare with the the history for the phrase native-born to highlight the differences.
