Wish there were a way to bring a lawsuit against the person for costing the State so much with frivolous lawsuits...seems there should be someone up there who could nail this creep who wants so very very badly to hurt Sarah and her family.

The state should charge the complainant for the cost of the dismissed complaints.

If McLeod where a Repub going after a Demo, the media would be all over her past and airing her dirty laundry, but we would hear almost nothing about her complaints.

Doesn’t the law allow for any penalty at all for people submitting nuisance complaints?

For sure. Are there any adults in charge that can stop this type of harassment?

I don’t wanna hear the name ‘McLoed’ and the words ‘dirty laundry’ in the same sentence.
Haven’t had breakfast yet.

Mcleod is a failed state job seeker and bitterly obsessed woman who has said she will pursue Sarah Palin even after she leaves office. Get a recent photo and look at her eyes. Chilling.

The citizens of Alaska need to file individual civil suits against the originator, in multiple districts and in local small claims court, to recover the portion of their tax dollars wasted in these guy's frivolous agenda driven ethics campaign.

Which law? The one for liberals, communists, democrats, illegal aliens, black people and Muslims; or the law for the rest of us? The Alaskan law dealing with ethics complaints.

You would think Ms McLeod would have her phone number/address unlisted before she started these shenanigans.
All sorts of annoying things can happen...

Doesnt the law allow for any penalty at all for people submitting nuisance complaints? Not under current Alaska law.
Clearly the law needs to be changed and just as clearly, the good ol' boys of Alaska weren't going to lift a finger to accommodate Gov. Palin while she was in office. Maybe they'll do the right thing now and make the necessary changes.

“
Andree McLeod’s less typical background reveals another possible reason why this has become an issue. According to previous Alaska Voter’s Guides published in 2002 and 2004, when she ran unsuccessfully for the House District 24 seat, McLeod was born in Beirut, Lebanon. Undoubtedly, she came in contact with Muslims while she was there, possibly even the fundamentalist type who currently run Hezbollah.”

Is this going to be the Democratic Party's model for harassing those in public office from now on? How much has this cost the taxpayers. Couldn't someone use the same tactic against Our Dear Leader?

This is being done to establish a meme, framing the debate for when/if Sarah decides to run on the National Stage.
And I have already seen it being used in the major media.

Maybe they'll do the right thing now and make the necessary changes. I realize it's a fine line. You don't want to write a law that discourages legitimate ethics complaints. At the same time you don't want to write a law that can be abused for crass political purposes. The way this person is using it is not what the framers of the law had in mind.

The dimrats pulled this stunt on Newt Gingrich. They filed 75 ethics complaints, all of which Newt had to pay attorneys to defend. 74 came to nothing, but the 75th was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I think this is what the marxists are up to here. Newt got NO help, but hopefully Sarah will fight this smarter than Newt did.

Don't judges have the power to dismiss frivolous law suits? What's WRONG with them?
Or have they, too, been co-opted by Palinmania?

Whomever is in charge of the complaint investigation needs to declare this person as a vexatious nuisance and they can file no more complaints.

Don't judges have the power to dismiss frivolous law suits? What's WRONG with them?ALL of them HAVE been dismissed! What's interesting, though, is that, according to Sarah Palin's lawyer, the people filing the complaints have violated the Ethics law by making those complaints public, before they can be heard by an Ethics committee or by a Judge. I'd be curious to see if anything comes of that little technicality.

It isn’t the same woman. The redhead fat chick is the official DNC blogger and serial ethics complaint filer who goes by the name Celtic Diva. Her real name is Linda Kellen Biegel.
