Natives Getting Restless: HuffPo Blogger Wants to be Paid
Publius Forum ^ | 07/22/09 | Warner Todd Huston

In How The Huffington Post Can Pay Its Bloggers, HuffPo blogger Michelle Haimoff seems to have gotten a tad miffed at how Arianna Huffington is making millions on the backs of her bloggers without “paying it forward,” as it were. Consequently, Haimoff has developed a prototype scheme on how Arianna can pay her long toiling bloggers to help fulfill her “responsibility” to journalism.

I think that Haimoff, however, misses the point of the Huffington Post. It isn’t now and never was about “journalism.” It’s about left-wing advocacy and advertising sales. Journalists need not apply. As we discussed early in July, journalism isn’t what HuffPo does.

Starting off by paying her un-mindful patron some undue flattery, she says that Huffington “exudes a kind of warmth and authenticity that is rare for people at her level in the media world,” Haimoff moves to harp on that “responsibility” she imagines that Huffington owes the Internet.

This girl is dreaming if she thinks a liberal is going to give her her OWN money. Liberals only give away OTHER people's money.

Come on, since we all know that Arianna Huffington voted for Barry, it is safe to conclude that Arianna also agrees with the redistribution of her wealth....

That woman is a pinhead. No, really. The top of her head is pointy.

I guess Zippy is right: “It’s a nation of pinheads.”

Natives Getting Restless: HuffPo Blogger Wants to be Paid

From what I've seen coming out of the HuffPost, the bloggers are already getting paid exactly what their opinions are worth.

I accidentally linked over to a Puffington Host comment yesterday. Read about 10 comments before I realized that the hatred and bigotry of people over there put the DUmmies and KOS folks to shame.

Had to head to the bathroom to wash the stench of that foul spot off of me.

I googled Michelle Haimoff and she has authored a book about New York and writes for several paying outlets.....so I’m thinking her crack about the rich not needing their income so they could “pay forward” anything they get to those below them is a good idea. However, she is paid for her work so she needs to “pay forward” by sending her income to the little guys beneath her who haven’t had the luxury of writing a book or writing for paying gigs yet.... Sorry Michelle, that’s how it works in liberal utopia - you are richer than someone else and that isn’t fair

“ALL FOR ME AND NONE FOR YE!” ~Democrat motto

When Arianna Huffington was running against Arnold for Governor of California, it came out that the year before she had made over one million dollars in income yet paid - zero, nada, nothing, not one thin dime - in California income taxes that year. To Arianna, only the little people pay taxes and they obviously should not be paid for their work either.

The conclusion doesn't follow from the premises: if 'journalism' isn't about "left-wing advocacy and advertising sales," what is it about?

Arianne H. is well trained in new age manipulation through her long term participation in an organization called MSIA.

I have no doubt she could fool lost people into thinking her motives are purely “love” and that they should all give of themselves while she, the guru, rakes in the dough using the model of MSIA. MSIA is led by a guru named John Roger. Many of Arainna’s bloggers are members of MSIA.

Just like “JR” she has no intention of doing anything but milking all idealistic fools who associate with her “labor of love” dry. She is more a fascist (like her benefactor Soros) than she is a Marxist.
