I have no Persian/Iranian relatives or close friends.

Have deep respect for their old culture.

Find it ironic that their nation (under Cyrus) was the nation that freed the Israelis in Babylonian bondage, and now they are slaves to these cretin. They certainly deserve freedom.

I have a severe weakness when it comes to wanting all nations to be free. It is not a simple matter to get there.

We are looking at a similar defiance of a despotic government here. Is that ironic?

May God protect the Persian demonstrators and help them achieve freedom and peace.
