Obama can’t stomach being in Afghanistan. I predicted this during the campaign that Obama would cut and run not only from Iraq, but from Afghanistan as well because Obama is too weak.

No offense, but I
didn't believe this story.
But I looked around

and--damn!--it is real.
The Guardian has it and
other sources, too.

--------------------------------------------

A concerted effort to start unprecedented talks between Taliban and British and American envoys was outlined yesterday in a significant change in tactics designed to bring about a breakthrough in the attritional, eight-year conflict in Afghanistan.

Senior ministers and commanders on the ground believe they have created the right conditions to open up a dialogue with "second-tier" local leaders now the Taliban have been forced back in a swath of Helmand province.

My son is a Marine. If this poor excuse for a Commander in Chief throws in the towel in the Middle East, spitting on the graves of our fallen, you will see a groundswell of anger break upon this nation, the likes of which we have never seen before.

It is also sickening how after all time over there that Obama has tightened the rules of engagment on our troops.

God bless your son.

Obama does not want us to win there.

From the article.

They are hoping that Britain’s continuing military presence in Helmand, strengthened by the arrival of thousands of US troops, will encourage Taliban commanders to end the insurgency. There is even talk in London and Washington of a military “exit strategy”.

Come on now Freepers, time to make lemonade out of lemons. Let’s put our heads together and come up with what Obama can offer the Taliban as a conciliatory gesture. Here’s a few for starters:

1. An ACLU office in every town.
2. A Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in every province.
3. Condom dispensers in every school.
4. The Heather has two Mommies textbook in every Madrasah.
5. An Al Franken comedy club
6. A Burqa King restaurant for every 20,000 people
7. ACORN coordinators to help the peasants achieve reform.
8. National Organization of Women outreach (in burqas of course)

Feel free to add to the list. Remember we must export the best that liberal Amierika has to offer.

I wonder what their terms for surrender will be? Perhaps another apology from our commie in chief will suffice.

Hugs and rounds of Kumbayah. 9/11 will be insignificant by the time this is over.... shaking head.

He will offer a bailout of the opium poppy industry. The opiates will be used to dope up those that refuse to comply with his agenda.

What in the flying frickin' Sam Hill is this mofo doing to my country?

Hopefully he would cut and run. But clearly he is doing the opposite. Sending American soldiers through a meat grinder to fight an unnecessary war in hopes of trying to create a western centralized democracy amongst third world tribespeople.

The muzzies in Afghan land provided the breeding ground for the attacks on our country. My son is more than ready to go after these turds and kick their ass. If Barry cuts and runs, no Democrat will get elected POTUS for the next 30 years.

I wonder if Obama prefaces his negotiations with, “First off I’m sorry for our nation’s policies that have angered your people. For starters we are prepared to give you everything you want just for coming here. That’s how willing we are to find an acceptable solution to our differences.”

It is probably gut wrenching for mugabe to send troops against his “brothers”. I dont know how is now, but when I was in the corp, the old nco’s trained us how to fight and survive when we got left behind or treated like an afterthought. Always a possiblility when you have appologetic dimrats running the show. For as far as I can remember, when dimrats are in power, the military has their budgets really cut, they have to do much more with less, their stateside living conditions suck and on and on. Makes no sense, but it is what it is. And on top of that you have the dimrat party doing their best to not count military ballots from overseas.
The modern dimrat party is now the enemy within.

Unfortunately it makes sense if you hate America as we know it and want to weaken it.

my thanks and prayers to and for your son. I like the speech H. Truman gave in august ‘45 between (I think it was) the two nukies dropped on the japs. somewhere in it he said......”if they do not now accept our terms they can expect a rain of ruin from the air the likes not seen before on this earth”. (or something very close to that wording)......and he damn well meant it!! of course we do not have anybody in DC now with the stones to speak like that.

Winning means destroying the enemy.

He does not see them as the enemy.
