Also, please send me an electronic copy of the written criteria, that must be satisfied, by which the Director of the Hawaii Department of Health determines that a person, whose vital records she has statutory authority over, is a natural-born American citizen.
Who has the authority to verify that a vital record maintained on file by the Hawai‘i State Department of Health satisfies the criteria that indicates that the owner of the record is a natural-born American citizen?

You don’t think they actually mean you to use these Acts do you? You will get “STFU and go away”.
Now..., this is definitely something that I would like to follow — for an examle of how nuts this issue is getting to be... LOL..
No..., I’m serious... I want to follow the progress of this request. Of course, it only takes one person. If an agency has to do something, then it doesn’t matter whether it’s one person asking or it’s 10,000 people asking. They have to do it for one or more than one, if that’s the case.
I’ve always seen that there is a big *disconnect* with *reality*, the way things work in real life — with people who are obsessive about this issue. This is why I want to see the “real life results” of this particular exercise... :-)
Please, by all means keep us (and *me* especially) informed and up-to-date on everything that happens with this particular exercise with the State of Hawaii... (if nothing else, it’s a good anthropological study for some graduate student... ).

It would be tough to invent laws—usually that takes some time (bureaucratic red tape) to change the law to suit their needs.
If Hawaii ignores the requests or says we have no standing, then what? Are we to all hire lawyers?
I appreciate the effort you’ve put into this, but we all know that Democrats operate by the rules that they choose to follow and not by the laws on the books.

Well..., I’m sorry, but I’m not buying the “dangerous times” in that there is some danger to an individual for sending in this kind of request. I’m not going down that track, because it’s way too crazy for me...
And secondly, if I understand this right, this is an administrative type of action and not a “political” action. That means (to me, at least) that how many request this is not relevant to the action being requested. That means that if “administratively” they are supposed to supply this information, then no matter whether one or hundreds do it, it’s going to be done (if the “understanding” of this is correct).
You’re making this out to be not an “administrative action” but to be a “political action” and therefore “the more the merrier” (as it works in political circles).
If someone does some kind of administrative request, I don’t need to add my request to it — all I have to do is wait for that other person’s request to be complied with, according to what the State is supposed to do.
You’ll have to excuse me here, but I simply don’t believe this is something that you’re ever going to see the kind of results that you want.

I don’t have a problem with your idea at all. I think it’s a good one. But saying the deomcrat officals “have to” follow the law is where the disconnect is for me. They’ll almost certainly stonewall and ignore for as long as possible and try to win through stubbornness and getting us to give up.

Well, let me reassure you... there’s no physical danger to you requesting that. Heck! People make administrative requests like that, for one thing or another, all day long. I simply won’t buy into this “danger” bit...
But, let me qualify that “danger” bit a little so you’ll understand. Let’s say someone is on the FBI’s 10 most wanted list, and they stand up at a meeting and question Obama’s policies... well... I wouldn’t do it, if I were them, because someone who doesn’t like the questions, just might recognize the guy from the FBI’s 10 most wanted list... LOL...
You get the idea... don’t make yourself a target for what you can *legitimately* be hassled about .... :-) (the emphasis is on “legitimate”... if you get my meaning).
If someone has skeletons in their closet and another person doesn’t like what you’re doing, they’re liable to drag them out of the closet, but they were *your skeletons* in the first place and didn’t belong to someone else...
So, with that kind of qualifier... I wouldn’t worry too much... (and actually those state officials have too much work to do anyway, without worrying about all this other stuff and hassling people...).
