Palin Vs. Obama
Citizen Palin 4 President ^

Posted on 07/31/2009 2:15:21 PM PDT by MaxCUA

This is a re-post because I added the wrong link. Dave Weinbaum, of Jewish World Review, wrote a great piece on how Palin and Obama are polar opposites. It is a scary reality we have to deal with until Obama is out of office.

Recently Sarah Palin was seen holding the book "Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto" by Mark R. Levin. Obama was pictured toting the tome, The Post-American World penned by Fareed Zakaria.

In a crossroads of American Politics, two paths have converged, one on the outside looking in and the other still in the Everest of power peaks. One is an eviscerated enigma to some and an outstanding leader and hero to others. The other is the President of the United States, whose popularity is vanishing before our eyes.

One volume expounds the wisdom of the founding fathers and the system they developed via the Constitution. It's what allowed America to shoot ahead of the rest of the stumbling fumblers of simmering or outright tyrannies.

Obama: "I don't want my daughters punished with a baby"

Palin: Gave birth to Trigger.

Obama: "they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

Obama: You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a (flag) pin. Shortly after 9/11 that became a substitute for, I think, true patriotism...I decided I won’t wear that pin on my chest"

...and we could go on and on and on.

"We face challenging times with some hell-bent on tearing down our nation by perpetuating pessimism and apologizing for America. They suggest that our best days were yesterdays. But how can this pessimism exist? Proof of our greatness and pride is all around us today. We produce proud and great volunteers who sacrifice everything for their country.

"We can resist enslavement to big central government that crushes hope and opportunity. We must be wary of government largesse. It doesn’t come free and often accepting it takes away everything that is free. Melting into Washington’s powerful and caretaking arms will only lead to suck away the incentive to work hard and chart our own course. This will only contribute to an unstable economy and dizzying national debt, and it will make us less free.

"We don’t have to feel that we must beg an allowance from Washington – except to beg the allowance to be self-determined.

"See, in order to be self-sufficient (we) must be allowed to develop, to drill and build and climb to fulfill our promise! We can not start believing that government is the answer. It can’t make you happy or healthy or wealthy or wise. What can? It is the wisdom of the people and our families and our small businesses and industrious individuals. And it is God’s grace helping those who help themselves." - Sarah Palin, July 26, 2009

Sarah has now initiated her brilliant flanking manuever against the left, the DNC, the MSM and the RINOs that has them all in a frenzy wondering what her next move will be and how it will be perceived...and has them frothing at the mouth in their efforts to discredit her.

Sarah will now get her book out, go on tour, give speeches and promote conservatie principles all over this country in the midst of the Obama administration disaster and gain great political capital in the process. Then she will support conservative candidates in 2010 and help them win, amassing much more political capital. She will then take all of that and make an awesome, stunning run for the Presidency in 2012.

" that grizzly guards her cubs, as a mother naturally guards her own. I will keep that vow wherever the road may lead." -Sarah Palin, July 26, 2009

Palin vs. Obama

Truth vs. Lies: an ugly battle, but, ultimately, no contest.

Well, I did post this before, but here is the thread again... and I’m all for Palin... (voted specifically for her the last election... :-) ...)

I think Sarah Palin is also the opposite of some here... as she’s *not talking* about the “Obama birth certificate” issue... LOL...

And that’s one reason why I like Sarah Palin and would like to see her as President, because she’s not an idiot and knows when something can be pursued and when something else is “spinning wheels”....

Good judgment, Sarah... :-)
