Raining quite a bit here(NE of Louisville on the upper side of the Ohio);probably 4 inches plus based on pan that was forgotten outside is now full to overflowing.
Just north of there...It’s been raining constantly since early morning....hail, wind, lightening.....finally is slowing down...
It’s raining here in Lyndon again. Husband just came home from Ford LAP and said they really had a bad storm and heavy rain there. Not so bad here. The present storm is going west of us again.
IT’S GLOBAL WARMING!!! SHRIEK!!!
Six inches? OMG! The firing ranges at Fort Knox must have just gotten turned into mush!
I cannot imagine that. Living in the desert, that's four years' worth of total precip.
No big deal. After all...it’s a RED state!
Out here in the W. Texas desert....get 9 inches a year, but we managed to get 6 inches in July. It has been one wet month.
Reminds me of home in Kansas, with the spring flooding. Was nice...:)
Off topic - we spent a night in Pecos in mid June; what a depressed place. The only decent things were the museum and the surprisingly great Chinese restaurant.
I’m in Midland, which is luckily better. Still not the greatest, but oh well.
hubbymayhem flew outta there this a.m. and his flight was delayed twice. supposed to leave at 10:40 finally got gone at 12:45. missed his connection at reagan. that really sucks. i hope its better when he gets back tomorrow.
Stopped there for brekkies after leaving Abilene...Shoney's, IIRC. Very nice for a roadside tummy fillup. All in all, we loved Texas.
