And what if he doesn't? Even if he does show his vault certificate, we can continue to object to him on other grounds. Like I said, I'm capable of multi-tasking.

No, we will have found out the truth and perhaps set up a situation in which this cannot happen again. Yes, we will suffer some taunts for awhile but nothing serious IMO.

Quite a conspiracy theory. He has spent all that money to fight it in court only to produce it and laugh? I think not. That’s akin to claiming Rove planted Rathers phony papers.

Obama’s evasive behavior in this matter reflects badly on HIM, not on us.

I don’t think he’s legitimate for a few reasons. But even if he is, how does asking for documented proof make US look bad? People who are buying into that meme are the ones falling into the Alinsky trap.

Images on the Internet are not proof of anything. He mislabeled his Certification of Live Birth (COLB) as “Barack Obama’s Official Birth Certificate,” and urged his followers to spread the word he’d provided “proof” when that was NOT the long-form birth certificate we were looking for.

In addition, the COLB he showed us appears to be FORGED; it is missing creases, stamp and signature, and has numerous other problems. It first turned up on DailyKos, and it seems to have come from a template on PhotoBucket.

I am embarrassed by the conservatives who accept this as proof of eligibility.

The only people who claim to have seen a hard copy of the COLB are a few people from Obama shills FactCheck. FactCheck has ties to Obama through the Annenberg Foundation, which funds FactCheck and also funded Obama and Bill Ayers’ Chicago Annenberg Challenge. Even if FactCheck is not in on the gag, what expertise do they have in vetting the document? Why can’t other news outlets also see it?

For every “proof” the Obama team has offered up, there is a corresponding lie, inconsistency, alternate explanation, or loophole. He has potential citizenship ties to the US, Britain, Kenya, and Indonesia, and no one knows exactly if or when he was a citizen of each of these countries.

With all the unanswered questions and all the lies we have been told by the Obama team, the media, and others, it is more than reasonable to demand a full review of all Obama’s hidden documentation: birth certificate (short and long form), passport records, Selective Service registration, and school records that would help us unravel Obama’s complicated citizenship status - which we now know NO OFFICIAL body has ever checked.

Even if Obama has all the proof in the world and is hiding it away to spring it on us later in some sort of a trap, it STILL reflects badly on him. He promised TRANSPARENCY. He promised to UNIFY the country. His actions are evasive and polarizing.

This issue reflects badly on Obama ALL AROUND.
