The left is howling with indignation over a poster depicting Barack Obama as the villainous Joker character from The Dark Knight Batman movie. The poster, by an anonymous artist, has popped up in Los Angeles and Atlanta. The word "socialism" appears under the president's PhotoShopped face.
"Don't they know rule number five from Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals: ‘ridicule is man's most potent weapon'? Interesting how mad they get when you use their rules against them, isn't it?" Glenn Beck said on his TV show yesterday. (segment begins at 5:20 on linked video)
The posters have some liberals furious. For example, Steven Mikulan of LA Weekly writes:
The poster, which bears a very superficial resemblance to Shepard Fairey's famous Obama Hope illustration, has been pasted on freeway supports and other public surfaces. It has a bit of everything to appeal to the drunk tank of California conservatism: Obama is in white face, his mouth (like [actor Heath] Ledger's Joker's) has been grotesquely slit wide open and the word "Socialism" appears below his face. The only thing missing is a noose.
Of course the left cheered and cackled when President Bush was depicted as the Joker in Vanity Fair last summer.
Mikulan's own publication previously ran a poster on its cover depicting then-President Bush as a vampire. The artist? Shepard Fairey, creator of the iconic Obama "Hope" poster.

Excellent point. Conservatives have to stop worrying about being labeled one thing or another based on what they say. The democrat party has done that to us for years and will continue to do that so we are past the time when we should get down in the dirt and use their tactics against them. It does not matter how you label or talk about BO, you will be labeled as a racist regardless so "Don't worry, be happy" and keep pounding them.
Idiots. It has nothing to do with his race, and everything to do with the fact that he is widely regarded by people who are paying attention as an anti-American racist, socialist and Marxist.
His claim of going to “Reverend” Wright’s “Church” for 20 years and never hearing anything controversial ranks up there with Clinton’s “I never inhaled” and “I did not have sex” quotes. Couple that with quotes about race from his pathetic books clearly categorizes him as an anti-American racist.
His devotion to Saul Alinsky and his rhetoric clearly categorizes him as a Marxist.
His words and deeds classify him as a socialist.
Personally, even if Obama were none of these things, seeing liberals out themselves as pussies who wear their faults on their backs is worth the effort.

The dems are losing their minds! The American people have woken up from their stupor and are realizing that they were duped. They marched to the polls like lemmings chanting “first black president” and feeling absolved from White Guilt.

Since Obama’s election the libs have looking at any criticism of The Great Spreader as racism. As if conservatives would be praising Dennis Kucinich if he were the president and doing the same thing. At least Kucinich has the integrity to admit he’s a wacky liberal/leftist and not a liar like Obama.
