Here is video of Sonia Sotomayor being confirmed by the U.S. Senate as an Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court. Her confirmation was announced by Sen. Al Franken of Minnesota as he presided in the Senate Session. Sotomayor was confirmed by a 68-31 vote, and becomes the 111th person to sit on the U.S. Supreme Court. Sotomayor is the first Hispanic to sit on the high court. She replaces Justice David Souter, who was always a reliable liberal vote on the court. . . . . . . . (Watch Video)

He’s a one-hit wonder on nukes, and we rarely see him here in Indiana. Hell, even during his re-election campaign, he doesn’t have to come back “home”.

He must/better not be planning on running again. Bayh is more conservative than `Dick’ on TARP, national reciprocal gun carry and all things economic.
Pence should run for his job & give him a nudge toward a rocker if he won’t leave on his own.
Her nomination is certainly not a good thing, but if it is to be a liberal activist judge, I much prefer an intellectual lightweight like Sotomayor. In terms of influencing the court, she is likely to be weaker than Souter and will certainly have a tough row to hoe in pushing her vacuous ideas in opposition to serious guys like the fearsome foursome, Scalia, Thomas, Alito, and Roberts.
I wish Scalia and Thomas would take better care of themselves.
