This is just a short observation on the White Houses campaign against the citizens anger expressed at Town Halls this month about Obama-care. Many have pointed out in the last 48 hours that this is a page right out of the Saul Alinsky community organizing book: attack, mock and marginalize those who might stand in your way. Thats true enough. But its similarity to another Marxist tradition rang a bell with me.
In the Soviet Union, they used to have show trials. The victim was already doomed to death or gulag. The purpose was propaganda. In virtually all cases there was no truth whatsoever to the allegations, but Marxism is never about truth, it is about power. What was truly ironic about all this was that the secret state, the Comintern and the KGB actually did all the crimes of which the victims were accused and yet were innocent! The Soviets were the ones conspiring behind the scenes, intimidating, etc.
This knee-jerk reaction on the part of the White House betrays Marxist muscle memory. The SHOW TRIALS railroaded people by the dictum Accuse the victim of what youre doing and thats exactly what theyre trying to do in these TOWN HALLS.
How interesting is it that the community-organizer-in-chief and his forces are accusing the ordinary citizens at the town hall meetings of organized, disruptive behavior, of trying to achieve political ends by subversive means. Isnt it painfully obvious that this behavior is at the very CORE of the identity of ACORN and all the other far-left activists who engage in community organizing?

Thanks for the new tagline.
Bingo. Time test. Reliable. Guaranteed to tell which mother is lying about the baby.
Remember Hillary and her “vast right wing conspiracy”?
Im telling you people are getting it now. I can feel it and see it suddenly every day.
Yep, spot on analysis. ACORN and unions are the kings of thug behavior and astroturfing. There was very little coordinated effort at these town hall meeting and mostly rationale albeit passionate speeches. For the Brown Shirt Media to be portraying these average people as organized mobs is ridiculous.
I am about a third of the way through Rules for Radicals, and I can assure you, reading it tells volumes about the people who profess to following it as a bible, especially the ones pushing this health care bill.
It explains a lot. And none of it is good.
I was going to dictate the entire thing and make an audiobook out of it to give to people such as myself who dont want a single red cent to go to anyone associated with writing, printing or distributing that hideous work, but I couldnt stomach hearing myself read it in a way that would make it easier on the ears to listen to (To put the inflection in the right places means you have to read it as if you believe it, and I gave up after one chapter.)
It is probably one of the most amoral, twisted works I have ever read. Given that Alinsky wrote a dedication to Lucifer, I shouldnt be surprised. The dedication was taken out of later editions so as not to offend the clergy he was attempting to recruit, but the version I have still carries it.
From what I can see, reading this book enables one to understand what makes Obama (and his followers) tick.
The very FIRST paragraph exposes very clearly what they are all about:
"What follows is for those who want to change the world from what it is to what they believe it should be. 'The Prince' was written by Machiavelli for the Haves on how to hold power. 'Rules for Radicals' is written for the Have-Nots on how to take it away."
It is unrestricted class warfare, pure and simple. And it is the bible of Obama, Clinton, and many MANY others in this country.
Yes, it’s blindingly obvious, and they’ve been doing it right here in the US for a long time. Just like when “tolerance” was the buzzword, but they meant tolerance towards every perversion that undermined American stability, not tolerance of viewpoint. You don’t hear so much tolerance right now, the usefulness of their point with it has just about been outlived. IOW, they’ve pretty much achieved what they wanted with that tangent. Pretty much everyone is “tolerated” now except Christians, they are the new scapegoats. Most children are in state schools, they will grow up with the liberal form of “tolerance”—acceptance of perversion, acceptance of guilt if white(and male, and above poverty level) and entitlement if not, but “separation of church and state” has been stretched to breaking point to become “isolation of Bible-believing Christians from all others”.
“Dissent is Patriotic.” - Hillary Clinton. Screaming it into a mic.
And people can dismiss that all this is leading to a one-world, ecumenical (until antichrist is indwelt) government? I never knew that he dedicated the book to Lucifer, but I’m really not surprised. Most of the people who support and advance this aren’t religious, aren’t they in for a surprise if they live long enough. Though they weren’t averse to worshipping Obamessiah.
It’s not just ACORN. It’s the CEO (Chief Executive Organizer) himself:

“That’s why Organizing for America is putting together thousands of events this month where you can reach out to neighbors, show your support, and make certain your members of Congress know that you’re counting on them to act.”
From Wikipedia.
May God Bless her soul.
Let’s not forget that Obama pal Bill Ayers said 30,000,000 Americans would need to be eliminated in order for communism to be set up in America.
What is Organizing for America and where do I join?

Amen. How can people not realise, with all the historical evidence, that any form of socialism is wicked and evil in its core? And is merely the scenic route to tyranny?
Nonesense. It was only 25 million.
I was being silly.
I wouldn’t join that anything Obama.
Don’t want to miss this one! For those of us who write about the administrations machinations, be it in blog or other media, let us not forget the play book of the democrat party and especially barack obama and david axelgreasy. In the next couple of weeks, I suspect SEIU and ACORN hired muggery will be bussed into the townhall forums to create as much chaos as the axelgreasy astroturfing amchine can use. We must point it out when it happens and call it what it is, M A R X I S M on parade in America, via the DNC, aimed at sweeping away the Old Republic beofre American wake up and revolt.

What edition do you have that has Lucifer in the dedication?
Accuse Your Victim Of What Youre Doing
That’s awesome. Saved to desktop.
Ugh. Timely question. I just finished reading that slimy piece of crap less than five minutes ago.
I have never worked harder at forcing myself to read a book. Never.
The version I got from the library is vintage books edition 1989. Interesting. Until you asked that question, I just assumed it was an older copy. Then, as I paid attention, there is a bar code on the back of the jacket.
So, they apparently felt it was fine to put the dedication to Lucifer back in this version.
"Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom Lucifer"
I read this to my brother, who is pretty religious, and he looked at me with bewilderment and said "And someone thinks that is a great kingdom to win?"
The book is pretty hideous. I don't think I have ever felt so soiled just reading something before.
This one?

thanks
Here is the story on that, in case you misunderstood.
The original printings of the book had the dedication to Lucifer in it, but Alinsky had it removed in subsequent printings because he didn’t want to frighten off or alienate the churches, who he had complete contempt for, but liked using them as tools.
He needed the clergy, and thought the dedication would be an impediment to that end so he had it removed. It wasn’t due to pressure by the government or anything like that.
Another one of interest.
You kidding? MHGinTN is the master at it LOL!!
Enjoy.
Great post. Do you know what happened to the Tampa Health Care thread?
Thanks!
We already went through a more amateurish version of this plan with Klinton in the 90s. - Obama is considerably less intelligent, but far more ruthless, and ideologically committed. - His judgement is poor, but his determination is strong, and he has a powerful motive: His presidency is irrelevant if he loses this one.
Be ye prepared with video cams, phone cams, or whatever you have, to record the events, but take no overt action. - This is their war to lose; let’s let them lose it.
No there was one with over a hundred replies... great thread. It was pulled because it quoted from a banned newspaper chain... well, that’s what I heard..
I was discussing this with my Dad earlier today. He served in the Army during the Korean War, spent a lot of time in Germany and witnessed some of the aftermath of WW II.
Several months before the election Dad was drawing parallels between obozo and the Dems, and the tyrants of the twentieth century. As time has progressed he says the parallels are more painfully clear.
President Reagan left office exactly 20 years before obozo took office. It's almost unimaginable how far we've fallen from the great position the Gipper built for America.
God willing enough Americans will wake up before it's too late.
"It is the duty of every patriot to protect his country from its government" - Thomas Paine
Rahm Emmanuel.
In that day, every knee will bow and every tongue confess - that Jesus Christ is LORD! Yes, those who didn’t in this life will be very surprised to see who they were actually following. There is no one who doesn’t belong to one of the kingdoms - even those who think they are neutral/non-believing/undecided.
Self-Ping for later...
Amen! I could’ve expressed my thoughts more clearly-I meant that if the ones presently advancing this tyranny cloaked as socialism hate religion so much, and are so happy to see Bible-believing Christians shoved to the fringes of acceptable society, and eventually the only acceptable religion be one of “universalism”, won’t they be the most surprised of all one day. That day being the one when after all their characterising of Christianity as mere “myth” to be mocked, and religion as the opiate of the masses, they are forced to actually physically bow to a tangible being in the form of the antichrist. They tried to rid society of any vestige of real religion-I won’t even say Christianity, though that seems to be what threatens them the most-and then they themselves have to actually physically bend their knees before the antichrist or die. I won’t allow myself to relish their dismay, because once they do so and take his name/number, their eternal fate is sealed.
Thanks, FRiend. Game on.
They know just how to accuse us of anything they want be it inhibiting free speech, intimidation or whatever since they do it all the time.
