That sums up our situation and anger perfectly. It is time for a line in the sand.

Maybe we could offer them French haircuts, while we have our tea and cake.

Its just so painfully true. Get elected once and re election becomes an almost forgone conclusion. What accountability i ask?
Pols love to disparage big business. Sometimes their anger is righteous but most of the time its simply a mask they wear to hide the same issues with big government. Out of touch with the people? not serving needs? monopoly? is there a greater monopoly than the power to legislate?
The claim “to serve the people” has in too many cases become a code for serving the special interests.
